The New York Police Department announces indictments of BetOnline Bookmakers
The New York Police Department today announced the indictment of betonline principals on gambling charges. According to news conferences held by the NYPD and the NY District Attorney, charges are largely based on evidence of cash transactions that took place in the United States, including one paid in person to a winning bettor for over $500,000. Multiple alleged agents and credit websites were also named and cited as "wire rooms" for stateside bookmaking. It is unclear if the arrests will affect betonline's ability to send post-up player's their funds. SBR will investigate further and monitor betonline's progress in sending what is expected to be a surge in withdrawals. Although highly rated sportsbooks have weathered legal problems of key individuals, players are advised to use caution as the company's position becomes clear.

What about credit card processing?

I've had my cc shut down several times trying to fund BetOnline. I have to talk to fraud or risk management or something... It's a pain though, so I gave up on them.

Limits? Probably a stupid question, as any book will limit those with a clue.

Apparently the seizure was credit related, and not post-up. It earned them a downgrade. They closed to intl customers. They're pretty strict with trying to cut you and limit your payout options, which is really noob and bitch. Good for props allegedly. Unknown about CC processing.

There is a good troll recently that I had my man servant do on why they lie about being A+ rated at SBR.

FWIW, requested a withdrawal of $2200 on Dec. 23rd, it arrived by Fedex on the 28th. Always treated me right.

I have not requested a pay-out yet,so I can't help you there.They are -105 & post their lines early.They seem to have improved over the years.

Sorry I cannot help you Tomato. I have been playing with BetOnline for the past month from my beat the prick winnings. The lines are on par with other books and I have -105 lines. So far so good, but have not requested the payout yet. Should have a request in another week hopefully.
