UPDATE
betonline has completed its audit of player four. The player's account has been reactivated and he is free to continue to play or request a withdrawal of his $65,000 balance.

betonline statement: After an exhaustive and extensive investigation of the players activity we have taken the decision to honor the players claim to his winnings. As a new poker platform we believe it is essential to maintain the utmost security in our systems for the safety of our players and to conform to our regulatory obligations of our license. It's not a fast process but ultimately it is the fairest.

I appreciate the patience of you and the community at large during this process and we will be contacting the player today to let him know his account has been reactivated and he can continue to play or take a payout as per our normal processes and rules.

SBR has received complaints from four betonline (SBR rating B+) poker players that their payouts were on hold while they were audited for suspected chip dumping. The first dispute was resolved amicably. In the second dispute SBR has concluded, and the player has since confessed, chip dumping took place. The third dispute involves a player suspected of being part of a fraud ring. The largest case is from a player with a balance of $65,000, who has been open to review his hand history publicly. betonline expects to resolve the matter by the start of next week. betonline, which rarely receives disputes surrounding sportsbook play, recently launched a poker platform that has become instantly popular due to their large player base and players' shrinking online poker options. betonline plans to expand its poker management and staff to avoid lengthy account audits and add more proactive risk management.

The New York Police Department announces indictments of betonline Bookmakers
The New York Police Department today announced the indictment of betonline principals on gambling charges. According to news conferences held by the NYPD and the NY District Attorney, charges are largely based on evidence of cash transactions that took place in the United States, including one paid in person to a winning bettor for over $500,000. It is unclear if the arrests will affect betonline's ability to send post-up player's their funds. SBR will investigate further and monitor betonline's progress in sending what is expected to be a surge in withdrawals. Although highly rated sportsbooks have weathered legal problems of key individuals, players are advised to use caution as the company's position becomes clear.
