odsy88 950 euro stolen from my betmantra account

overnight around 11:40 pm pacific. while i was sleeping 950 euro was withdrawn from my betmantra account by btc. i withdrew my remaining balance with no problem. has anyone else had any similar issues with them?

yea I saw the one Punter posted...that was only one I have seen and that was before they implemented the new withdrawal process with the code.....Hopefully they clear this up for you. How are they handling this? Is there communications between you and the CS? Please keep us updated

yes that is exactly what it seems. although i did receive a text in the middle of the night that i saw when i woke up this morning. but the text wouldn't stop an employee from processing a rogue withdrawal

odsy88 is asked me to chat with them from my mobile phone yesterday morning. i asked them why? the told me "We would like to see the device sir code registration." "IT is the one who are asking it. They need it for their on-going investigation."

I told them that i expect to have the 950 euro refunded to my account by the end of the week.

a rogue employee could be issue. did you review your account log in IP address's for any irregular log in's? Also how was the 950 requested via your email or in chat? they have to have that recorded if it's chat they should have a IP address...Also I would ask for the BTC address....Hopefully they fix this and explain by your deadline which is very reasonable of you

the request was made by chat. the thief had my secret withdrawal code. they send a text to my phone. the thief had access to this texted code and gave them the correct texted code. they sent me a copy of the chat. but i just today requested the ip address. previously they had said that the ip address was from the city that i reside. they sent me the btc address on saturday.

I have heard of technology where Cell SIM cards can get hijacked and have read some reports of people getting their BTC wallets or exchange accounts cleaned out from these thieves. If it is not an inside job that could be. Anyone at your home while you where sleeping? That would be only other possibility I would think...

no one at my house other than me. if my sim card was hacked or hijacked then i would have had other intrusions. where i work there is an IT expert that ran some tests on my phone for intrusions. came back clean.

I've been using them with extremely small deposits and i'm impressed with their Customer service speed. I hope they make improvements to their website and emerge as a viable alternative to other big brokers.

i honestly feel that this is a fairly new operation and don't have much experience in this business. they are going to have growing pains. i feel as though that they are growing rapidly and that they may have hired a few bad apples.

I absolutely agree with what you've said which is why i won't be jumping in with a huge deposit right now.

It's better to keep an eye on their operation for the time being and test them regularly. One can't simply trust a new operation until they experience the lows of a brokerage i.e a bookmaker opting to leave etc. It should be interesting how they fare in the coming months and they need to be extremely careful about whom they hire like you suggested.

Someone had your secret code, your cell phone number and used an IP address from near your location... and they pay you.

Sounds like they were either lying their ass to you about those three things or their system is so insecure someone could spoof that stuff to them (almost impossible to believe).


If this is the same mob proudly claiming they did not perform KYC on the front of their website a few months ago, you guys are crazy for ignoring all these red flags.

Avoid this place or do not complain when ripped off.

Hi, sorry, I can't replied back your PM because I don't have enough post to replied back. There is surely some rogue employee who have access of all data, who use that and withdraw payment. You are lucky enough you will get back your fund but I wasn't lucky, they did not refunded back me.

It's not sim swap, 100% either odsy targeting selected users or their is some rogue employee, who have access to all data. They did told me too, someone from my country requested withdrawal. Though unique code for withdrawal I never used before and even I had to check my diary to remember that code.

I would want them to declare the ID info for the phone involved before letting them scan your phone for yours first.

You sound like you believe what they are telling you, but I am not so sure it is possible to do what they claim has been done even by an employee with the info from their database.

Update from my side, I checked today my email and I got email from odsy 2 days ago and they returned my 700 euro too. It's show clearly someone from odsy was culprit and Odsy was able to caught him/them.

When I told them first time, there surely problem from Odsy side and that's why after my complaint they changed the withdrawal system with phone OTP but they did not recognize the fault and even after many email, they clearly told me, they can't reimburse me. When I saw today there is another case too and they are refunding him, so I went to that email to send them mail to ask refund again, but I got the mail 2 days ago already that they are already credited back my fund in same account I was using. Ofcourse I am happy that they refunded me without asking again for refund. Now I fixed the single wallet withdrawal for any withdrawal so every future withdrawal will be in same wallet I gave them now. So in future it won't be easy to take withdrawal from my account because I fixed the withdrawal address.

wow that is a great idea for extra security. I myself have been very happy with them esp the CS and the fast withdrawals. I rarely leave more then 500 Euro in there overnight. I withdrawal daily when I hit sometimes 2 X a day but l also deposit alot esp of late . Very reassuring to know they reimbursed you guys.
