#43Looks like inexcusable behavior on the part of 1bet. Until I see a satisfactory explanation, I will avoid that book like the plague and tell my friends to do the same.
As for those saying "why did you leave 5000 with them? It's not a bloody bank":
lots of punters are playing with way more than that, and it's time consuming to move money in and out each time you want to bet. Time is money.
Also: For non-crypto players it's riskier to move funds all the time as it increases the chance of getting flagged. Crypto players have to be concerned with currency risk and/or getting flagged.
For all intents and purposes these books should be like banks for your funds. If they aren't solid enough, then we as a community should be out here holding their feet to the fire.Comment -

#46Also I have noted 1Bet have changed the wording regarding the rule they based their decision on:
From: 3.16. The customer holds the responsibility to actively maintain their own account. Should an account be inactive for 6 consecutive months or longer, 1BET reserves all rights to terminate the customer's account and therefore; all outstanding balances are forfeited.
To: 3.16. Accounts having no recorded activity for a period of 6 months are considered to be inactive. Should an account be inactive for 6 consecutive months or longer (no deposit and betting/gaming activity), 1bet reserves all rights to terminate the customer's account and therefore; all outstanding balances are forfeited.
So they have actually added 'no deposit and betting/gaming activity' which wasn't there beforeComment -

#47this really is a stupid rule. Personally I am not using 1bet anymore at the moment (due to the incidents mentioned on here), but I still have some open long term bets with them, which would only be settled after the 6 months timeframe - sounds like I may need to deposit a couple of Euro again, to be on the safe side.Comment -

Never seen a group of books so blatantly make and cite rules that even appear against common law principals..Comment -

#52I got contacted back by people from SBR who were going to help me. I provided/forwarded all the info I had to the woman who was eventually going to assist me. But It's been a while since I received the last update so I have now asked what the current situation is.Comment -

#53Update: SBR is getting the silent treatment from 1bet, so they are saying they can't do much for me either.
I asked if there was anything else I could try. Shari (the SBR-representative) said I could consider filing a lawsuit, but that would mean high cost and low chance of getting anything out of it.
Is there anything else you would advise me to do? Should I try to contact the organisation (don't know who it is for now) 1bet is regulated by?Comment -

This is, for sure, one of the biggest scandals in the industry and they didn't even mention a word in their news section
I'm disappointedComment -

But in all seriousness, I will admit I was wrong. I thought 1bet was the sister site of 1xbet/bit. This apparently is not the case. I have not played at 1bet.Comment -

But they (SBR) said there's basically nothing more they can do if 1Bet refuses to have contact with them. So I'm now looking if there's anything I can do myself.Comment -
