    Books That Matter
Recently I've read "Smart Money" written by Michael Konik and I must admit its really fascinating reading. I'm looking forward for more epic stories like that but not sure which one to chose next ? Has anyone read any of the below ones ?

Adam Kucharski: The Perfect Bet: How Science and Math Are Taking the Luck Out of Gambling
Anthony Curtis: Billy Walters: Legendary Sports Bettor-Interviews and Stories
Michael Konik: The Man With The $100,000 Breasts: And Other Gambling Stories
Michael Konik: Telling Lies And Getting Paid
Poker Joe: Sharper: A Guide To Modern Sports Betting

Richard W. Munchkin: Gambling Wizards: Conversations with the World's Greatest Gamblers
Scott Schettler: We Were Wise Guys and Didn't Know It

Michael Konik: The Man With The $100,000 Breasts: And Other Gambling Stories

Decent but not nearly as fascinating as "The Smart Money". It's just a collection of non-related short stories.

I'm adding the others to my "to read" list. Thanks

Not everyone. Divorcing emotion from your wagers is key to successful sports betting. People who are chasing the thrill are less likely to succeed because they are doing the exact opposite.

You're playing the statistics. Stay mindful that it's a long game, so there's no use getting too high or too low over a single bet.

You will gain more understanding by reading more psychology and market books than you will reading gambler stories and learning the basics of gambling.

Learn the basics, but then learn human behavior.

It matters in the auction marketplace.

99.99% dont even know the definition or criteria of winning, read black cat in a coal cellar and analyze anyone you tail and or your own picks with that book. You will learn a ton about A how hard it is and B what a winner is.

Books can be useful to help get your grounding work done faster. And help learn how to think for yourself on the subject.

But if you are reading books just looking for someone to tell you the answers, it's probably a wasted effort.

Books can be useful to help get your grounding work done faster. And help learn how to think for yourself on the subject.

But if you are reading books just looking for someone to tell you the answers, it's probably a wasted effort.

the problem is you are better to be a square than a nerf
square just bets his extra few bucks and gets drunk screaming at the Yankees BUT a nerf thinks they got something by counting the number of times Scherzer pitched on wednesdays and won or Sale does really good on the road after 3 wins. That all the ESPN garbabe one liners and streaks mean shit ( regression to the mean) ie Yankees won 20 straight after a road trip. All this garbage makes Nerfs make mistakes cause they think they know something and spread that garbage everywhere. What is worse than no information, BAD INFORMATION
