Whether they regard you as "baddie" or not, the fact is that you will get limited at almost all bookies for beating the closing line or odds. And that's what the OP was complaining about.
They do distinguish. Steam chasing is considered to be not gambling but trying to exploit a flaw in the system.

Beating the closer just means you are good at gambling.

Both could see you described as not economical but most half decent books will try to stand the second type of player as long as possible whilst most will boot the first type immediately and slam the door behind them.

      Not in my experience.
I've never been a "steam chaser" but I've been limited very speedily at heaps of books. Bet365 being no exception.

They are probably just scared of you, rather than disliking what you do.

I doubt you would still be here and still successful after so many years if all you did was chase steam. You would probably have have run out of useful books years ago.

It seems like there is very little differentiation between steam chasing, line shopping, & beating the close line. Thanks god there are still some braves & well run books that is out there don't deal with this crap. I means they don't care what you bet, how you bet, how much you bet, when you bet. I find it ridiculous bet$3.65/Ladbrokes have the same rating as Pinnacle, 5dimes, BookMaker, and better rating than Betonline & Sportsint.

bet$3.65 need better system, better trader, or maybe more trader than simply limit player to a happy meal bet. Too many player have been limited/ban from them. It doesn't bother me that they limit me to $6-$10 cdn base wager, it bother me a lot that they are rate A+, the best of the best in the industry but yet they cowardly limit many player to a meaningless bet!

The fastest way to get limited at 365 is to crush their early racing fixed odds openers.

As for the ratings: they're based on security of money. If they factored in limiting there would be three A books, and all the rest would be F.
What are the three A books? What books do you recommend?

What would those books who don't limit currently be?

Theres something gratifying about spanking a book im limited on, in their casino. I spanked them good yesterday started with £25 for a bit of fun on the slots and banked over £2k lol.
