#72I guess they have to be somewhat guarded in what they say but there was a very positive sounding tweet from them on that subject on a week or so ago.Originally posted by shaunoveryWhere did u hear that ,

I email them every couple of weeks and just get the reply " no more news on that front"Comment

#73It's definitely in the works.Originally posted by Hareeba! What has prompted that at this stage?
Last I heard from them only a few days ago was a very positive sounding message that they were looking forward to again serving UK players.

However, the unfortunate question: with extra juice or not?Comment

#75Sorry Hareeba i hadn't read your message before, and concerning that point i believed i had been clear enough before, but as it seems i wasn't i sum up: Pinnacle had suspended my account for wagering a first time some months ago, i had been questionned on my bets (why i bet on a player, and then on his oppoonent...). I had precisely answered to all their questions, and then my account had been restaured for wagering. But no, at any moment i had received any warning. Should they have given me a warning, they should have told me what not to do anymore, but that they've never been able to tell me, surely because i never did anything wrong...Originally posted by Hareeba! You are the forum's biggest fool.
If you were to do the slightest bit of research before posting ignorant trash you'd find that over the past 18 months or so I've posted many more criticisms of Pinnacle Sports than praises or defences of their actions.
So much so that I refuse to play there anymore!
Furthermore, in this thread I've questioned whether Pinnacle issued a warning to the OP before closing him down. I think they should have but the OP hasn't really answered that point.Comment

 #76Hey guys,

The taking odds offline has been there for a long time. It's referred to as the Z gear I think.
It means you are rated as one of the sharpest players in that specific category.
It automatically takes down the line and needs to be put online manually after a trader looks at it.

This in it self is not very unique. The resulting change in odds is not unique either.

What I suspect is that other accounts with probably bigger limits are used after the line has been moved as a result of the initial wager.

So sharp action gets detected and then the player knows that it can influence the odds.
Then that account is used to move lines, to create better odds for other accounts.
These accounts will have probably bigger limits.

This will then become a cat and mouse game.

#78If the thing you imply is i would have had several accounts with pinnacle, or would have been in connection with other accounts, i'm sorry to disappoint you but you're totally wrong. If that had been the case, you can be sure that such a book as Pinnacle would have had evidence for that, and they never would have paid me: they would have confiscated my money and they would have been right for doing that. I told both SBR and Pinnacle i accepted all my bets to be shared and studied as i have nothing to hide, so you can be sure that if there had been only the start of the beginning of a suspicion that i would have had several accounts or been in relationship with other accounts, they would have immediately highlighted that. One Pinnacle account is more than enough to trade and earn money...Originally posted by PassTheDutchieHey guys,

#81Passthedutchie has pointed out the situation where a sharp player can move odds and then a buddy will cover the opposite side. Other option is the difference between early odds and odds just before the event start. You probably know that a sharp player can move early odds in Pin just by placing few hundreds, if a player knows when the limit will go up, he can just place few hundreds to move the line just before Pin will increase the bet stakes limits. So max bet on early line will be about 300 USD a bet of 200 or so from a sharp player can move the line and after some minutes the limits go up to 800-1000 USD per bet. So basically u place 200 to move the line out of market and then you wait that they increase limits after that you bet max bet on the other side, which would be already 800 or 1000 USD That bet is out of line and you close it in exchange or just before the match in Pin. I guess they would not like this kind of behaviour.Comment
