Just Closed My 5Dimes Account

Over a small issue they could have taken the high road and done the right thing.....now Ive gone ahead and closed the account and hope they lose more business. Sometimes these books have to realize we are a customer and we have options.......Hope nothing but bad luck for Tony and his company.......Been with Heritage a long time and never felt the need to post one negative thing about them.....been with Tony's 5dimes for 60 days and decided to close my account. A refection of their business practice

I had it with thier customer service years ago. I had a lady admit she didn't give me the full name for a deposit. She didn't like I asked her to repeat herself a couple different times cuz I couldn't hear her. So she didn't tell me the full name and when I called back she admitted it and said it was cuz I wasn't nice???? Said nothing rude and came across very polite. Total joke.

Overall they've been pretty good to me. Customer service is always courteous and payouts have been less than a week. For me personally, they've been good so I will continue to deposit with them in the future.

If Dinky did his research he would know 5D is the best book for American players, Dinky is mad at Tony because he tried to bet a bad line, got busted for it, gave Tony some lip, and Tony gave it back to Dinky three times harder.

Dinky, here's the bottom line on 5D, best odds, best lines, best and most props, they pay faster than they promise, payments clear, etc. etc.

Dinky, don't give Tony attitude next time, treat him with respect, he'll be nice to you back.

So I've been with Heritage for 9/10 years......only book I use. Decided to spread out and look into other books for this football season to line shop. You all have said solid things about 5dime so I gave them a shot

First off, wasn't happy with payout time. Heritage is not joke next day. You call them at 10am monday and P2P is ready next day.....like clockwork.

Ive had rejections when using 5dimes online withdraw options that I didn't know about till after 1pm. Call them and they say next day it can be done and the next day money will be ready.......so a monday withdraw online that gets canceled without notification, call after 1pm and told tusday withdraw, call wed for pickup info and not ready till thursday.........never at heritage, never

Also was told that I could only take $695 out cause that was the max a processor would allow.......wtf???

But what set me off was today. I noticed heritage gave me money back at end of septemebr for all the money I wager regardless of win or lose. Its a really nice little perk to get a few hundred free dollars even when you win. So I went to 5dimes to ask.......they tell me Im in a 50% reduced juice program I had no idea about and never used......told them I would like the 15% cash back on loses.....won a ton but managed to give a lot back so figured 15% would at least not make me as bitter for a bad 10 days I've been on.....she says no, sorry. You are part of the 50% program I've never used but can change me now. Wont be retroactive........wtf! Ive never used the reduce option and lost a large amount of money, what good does now do for me??? She keeps saying, sorry sir anything else.......why would a book not retro for a new customer who has never once received a free play, a bonus, a cash back and NEVER once used the REDUCED JUICE option because I never knew it existed

Im done with 5dimes and those who say they are a better book than Heritage is crazy.......

5dimes payouts are good. Maybe they are not a quick as Heritage is, but they pay and its in a reasonable amount of time.

Its my opinion that a book trying to retain business should favor a new customer for a simple error and not a unreasonable request. I work in the beer business and deal with mistakes all the time. To say flat out "No" to a new customer is the wrong approach. I closed my account and all my roommates did the same. We are happy with Heritage Sports and feel like they are a much better book.......will refer all the people I deal with in NYC looking for a book to heritage and not 5dimes.......Again ADR51, feel free to get a hold of me in person and we can talk further

Back on topic, this is what makes a great book, does the book pay? 5D not only pays, but on time or better.
Find me one documented case of 5D stiffing somebody for no good reason. Sorry, I heard from a friend who heard from a friend that they didn't pay his uncle does not count.

Does the payment clear? Always.

Are the betting lines fair? Yes. Does 5D serve dual lines? No. Some of the other books mentioned in this thread do.

Regarding Customer Service, it's common knowledge 'Tony' can be gruff, so what, that's the way he is.

Here is how you deal with him.
"Hi Tony, could you look into something for me please? I had the Patriots -8 earlier, it was graded as a loss, they won by 10, I am sure it's just an oversight, but I would appreciate this matter being corrected so I can apply some of those winnings on the late game"

There is nothing wrong with 5D, the book is rated A+ by at least six different sources.
