The only thing I know is 25c off is not clearly a line error

 #37Im guessing this was bookmaker?

I had this problem with bookmaker a couple weeks ago

I bet NO RUNS SCORED IN THE 1st inning of the Seattle/yankes game I PUT THE BET IN MINUTES BEFORE THE GAME STARTED

The bet won and they took extra long to grade the bet... I check back later in the day and they voided the bet. Because ''there was a pitching change'' But the pitching change was announced 4 hours before I put my bet in and I diddnt see any pitcher names when I was making the bet..

I go in the support chat and the support tells me a bunch of bullshit just like the last time they robbed me with my PROBOWL bet this year.Comment

#39Any chance this happened while playing at a book with a number at the beginning of its name?

there should be a rule that states if the live In game wager is not cancelled within half an inning, then the book should be forced to honor the bet
this free rolling garbage has to stop. No more "lets wait and see who wins before we act"Comment

#43I've been waiting to hear from the book and or SBR but I haven't heard anything yet. I finally spoke to someone who was competent at the book (BetOnline) a couple nights ago and he understands the issue, sees where I'm coming from, and told me he would see what he can do, as he does not have ultimate authority.

It would be great if someone from SBR could comment on this. I haven't heard anything from them since the complaint was filed last week.Comment

#47Believe it or not fellahs, 25 cents is off by a lot, specially when dealing live wagering. Live betting is ruled mainly by entities offshore the Americas and the market open should be standard for everyone at least on the beginning. If a live betting line is off by 25 cents it either means that the people betting with that specific book are off the trends in the whole world or a mistake. I'm not saying it's not possible, but to move something like that by 25 cents when everyone else keep a standard means something. Players, please be wary of all this as in my career taking care of lines I've seen many discrepancies indeed. And yes, I've worked on sports trading focusing in live wagering at times.

#51Not even close to true. 25c differences in in-play lines from book to book happen all the time and books always honour them. I have had some cancelled but it always happens right away and when best examples would be when they favour the wrong team (i.e. +150 instead of -150 of -180) or a data entry error +1500 instead +150) BOL live lines are some of the sharper ones so I can believe the OPs post but for a book to call it a bad line is absurd and unprofessional.Originally posted by Ced's shadowBelieve it or not fellahs, 25 cents is off by a lot, specially when dealing live wagering. #5225c different from one book to the next happens all day long in this market. They usually have more juice though to make up for it. Anyone saying 25c off is an obvious line error is so full of it that they don't deserve to post anymore.Comment

#55We as players, we are permitting the book to add as rule, the option to void any bet citing bad line. Take your money out and leave the book. The bad line is a result of a human error from the book side, live betting cannot be voided or cancelled, in the worst case the book had to adjust the line but never cancel it.Comment
