Reading at EOG..looks like they are being hosted by BetHorizon..the question is, if this is a Horizon enterprise..why not claim it-post a phone number on the site and give some hint of being legit.

Its clearly a PPH outfit with a website managed by someone else..but why not come out and claim it-US govt be damned, unless your name is buried by a past failed operation.

Seems like someone wants to stay hidden and is already making plans to fold up tents and dissapear into the night - just waiting until October when the max number of depositors can be swindled.

It is not a BetHorizon owned and operated skin.... it is an agent renting service from Horizon Perhead. Completely different animals and ones reputation has nothing to do with the others....

Yes... it is what we consider a super agent and 2000 is not even the biggest that I know of... there are some frickn whales out there.

I noticed that the guy who created the page is a friend of 6 of mine on FB, so he likely works for a PPH company, and the 18thhole is just an agent, and is trying to be a local, without being local... if he is in CR he could have gotten a list from a book (or forum, etc) he works for. He is trying to promote a company as being that big, but if he is an agent, he can set any limits he wants. Of course we doubt him being able to pay out that much . . . (we don't make much money here in the sportsbooks

Everything currently known make this a shop to avoid, especially the reports of 100% or greater bonuses.

It is basically a invitation only service running off of a perhead skin... we all know who the service provider is now so do not have to mention the name other than they have been around almost twenty years. This scenario has everything to do with who the agent/backer is and they could be taking this particular marketing route for half a dozens reasons I can think of off the top of my head. If the agent is big enough then your money is safe... and the big marketing bonuses could be a very short term opportunity to turn a quick buck. So, like I mentioned before if your going to try them then try them for a hundro or two and see how it goes...

if these guys are really who they represent themselves as, i don't see why they would be trying to recruit customers that are coming in for a few hundred. seems like it just wouldn't be worth their time.

touchback can you comment on any relation between 18th hole and bet islands? what portion of your roll would you feel ok about having at 18th hole?

Right now I would keep as much of my roll as possible at established ( 5 or more years, 10 even better) at A and B rated services. That other thing... working on it.

They claim to have been taking post-up since 2009. The book uses DGS, operates in CR, would not disclose their backers, and as touchback alluded to has not been known as a post-up business in the past. We are hoping to learn more, it was alleged that the book has 150 employees but it sounds unlikely. Like the previous SBR response in this thread read, 100% bonuses are never a good sign from a shop you've never heard of. There is no reason to be the first guinea pig.

Are people that have posted up there and requested a payout, getting paid? If they are, I'm not talking $500 payouts, but decent amounts then that's a good sign.

Many recent issues are now hitting the internet forums about 18th. I called over and spoke with the PPH owner and he immediately said he will look into the issue with 18th and that all available options are at his disposable to deal with the possible situation... read into this heavily edited content what you want.

Hank... there might have been a little confused information at the very beginning about this place and in this business it can take a little time to sort out... even for me. SteveX probably has to sort through similar data to eventually get to the truth. Right now I know who they are, the owner/manager, the service provider they are using and how many players they got. So... lets all sit back and see what happens.
