GL. I'm going with Spain over 5.5 corners myself. They will have a fairly big man up front in Torres, or Llorente if he subs. They won't have to try and go through the middle every time but can run up the sides and try to cross to their big forward for a header. Should yield some corners. Also going with the draw because the Italians can defend very well when it matters. I think this may be the first of the dreaded 0-0 matches.

Edit: apparently Torres isn't starting ugh, I hope Spain doesn't try to break through the Italian wall in the center for 90 minutes.

Good luck with that corners project. I shy away from total corners in Spain matches myself because of the unpredictability of how many/if many the opposition can get due to Spain's possession game. You'd figure Spain to rack up plenty, but does not always seem the case. I'll take 10 Spanish corners for you and 2-0 Spain?

Especially in light of Spain & Italy settling for a draw, a point would be positive for both the Irish and Croatians. Not that it means a load of anything heading in, but the Irish have a good culture of gaining results with a 14 match unbeaten streak. If they can keep their adrenaline from getting the best of them, I like them to earn a result.

Draw and Spain corners over both cash, awesome. Don't know much about this Irish team up next but their coach is great and I'd have a little chuckle if the Irish lead this group after today. Croatia has some good players though so I'm thinking maybe another draw. Going with a small play on Ireland +.5 and calling it a day.

Wouldn't say it's out of reach. Tons of time, but with the way the Irish D has played, I would say that is the reason they have about a 2% chance of maybe pulling within a goal at some point.

Yep, never know what your gonna get picking sides. Dutch are a perfect example, dominate statistically and lose. As good as yesterday was for me, today's been as bad. Should have played your baseball prop!

I don't mind picking sides I guess. I think I just have to pick my spots with them. Seem to have far better results on totals + the prop market really is a great resource in these tournaments. Corners when you can find good attacking teams together or an advantage like we saw in the Spain match. Anywho. Back to the drawing board tomorrow. My Ireland future pretty much dies with this result. Sucks I was choosing between them and Croatia, but probably read a little too much info instead of just going with what I liked better of the two.

I wish I had the option to bet on team corners because if France continues their plan of attack under Blanc, they should be the side with the majority of the attacking presence in this match. I'm expecting England to sit back and defend if their lead-up under Hodgson is any clue as to their organization/plan. Their backline though is undergoing a transformation without some stalwarts and could be in for a long day. Still expect England to spring some on attack to test a Bleus' backline that although laiden with gaudy stats in the qualis, could be open to some challenging due to their relative inexperience. As least in the media, Blance has continued to talk about his team's need to attack - if they stick to it, this should have a shot.

[Group D] Ukraine-Sweden Both Teams Score [-108]
Ukraine should be out to instill some energy in their fans early one would think as Poland did against Greece as the other host team. Sweden showed some defensive vulnerability in their build-up to teams that didn't have great attacking talent, so even a Ukraine side that struggles at times to score should have belief. The Swedes will always have a chance to score with Ibrahimovic leading the charge and I would be surprised if they weren't a danger for most of the match.

Why not try it again. Both defenses are a little loose at-times. Swedes especially are good at pressuring in attack which could lead to some corners.
