Everton playing good, Fellaini could/should be playing at a better team like this. Great potential.

Too bad Anderlecht couldn't pull through after they made the equalizer and missed a great chance to take the lead. Worst of all they suffered another goal with their shameless defending.

                                  Thursday:

                                  Anji Makhachkala (UEFA-Europa) -104* vs AZ Alkmaar (UEFA-Europa) (2x)

AZ is heading to the Russians trained by fellow Dutchman Guus Hiddink today. Although AZ has had a great start to the Eredivisie (with a draw at Ajax and and easy win at home against Heracles) I do not expect them to get a good result against Anji. AZ has only won one out of their last nine EL away matches (0-1 at Anderlecht last season) and is known to struggle against/at teams from eastern Europe. Also, AZ has lost their best defender and captain (Moisander) to Ajax last week so that definitely will not help them either. I expect this to be a low scoring match with a 1 goal difference win for Anji.

Barcelona (ESP- SuperC) -½ -128* vs Real Madrid (ESP- SuperC) (2x)

I expect Barca to be motivated to the bone tonight against Real. While Barca seems to be in great shape early on, Real simply does not. To make matters worse for Real they lost Pepe last week against Valencia so he will not be able to demolish the Barca attackers. Barca has not won their last two home matchups against Real and will be eager to make a statement tonight.

                                  Good luck!

                                  PSV Eindhoven (UEFA-Europa) -307* vs F.K. Zeta Golubovci (UEFA-Europa)

Ofcourse they pay taxes my friend. Just the regular income taxes like the rest of the Dutch habitants.

There has been a filing for a new law though, in which incomes above approx € 150.000 will have to pay a "crisis-tax" of and additional 16%. But, this will be paid by the employers, not the employees.

Won't make a difference for the stuffed soccer players!

                                                  Friday:

                                                  RKC Waalwijk (HOL-E) -½ -125* vs Roda JC (HOL-E) (1x)

Identical to last year, RKC keeps amazing (and stunning) the Eredivisie. Although the head coach and a number of key players have left during the summer, RKC has opened the Eredivisie season strong with a home win on title favorite PSV (3-2) and conceded a late goal at ADO to draw (2-2).
Roda JC on the other hand seems to be heading into a tough season, with (also) a few key players left whilst not being able to add some depth and quality to their squad. Roda JC opened the season with a 1-1 home draw against relegation favorites PEC Zwolle and a 5-0 beating at PSV last weekend.

The momentum is clearly in favor of the home team tonight, and just 5 months ago this matchup ended in a 5-2 home victory for RKC. RKC's last years head coach (Brood) is now head coach of Roda and will know best how to play against RKC. This may be the only advantage Roda has over RKC tonight, but other than that, I expect RKC to take this win tonight in a 2-1 kind of score.

                                                  Good luck!

Utrecht matches up against PEC Zwolle today and will desperately want to keep the three points at home against one of the weakest (maybe thé weakest) teams in the Eredivisie. Utrecht opened the season with a 0-1 home defeat against Feyenoord and a 1-3 win at VVV last week. Utrecht is without any (important) injured players and should be able to beat Zwolle (also without any injured players) with a two goal difference. Matter of fact, a 2-0 home victory makes perfect sense.

                                                                      NAC Breda (HOL-E) +2,+2½ +105* vs Ajax (HOL-E) (1x)

NAC Breda heads to Amsterdam tonight, to face up against Ajax in their second home game of the season. Ajax openend the season with a 2-2 draw against AZ and a 1-6 victory at NEC last week. Since that last game a lot has happened, Ajax acquired Moisander (CD) from AZ, picked up Poulsen at Evian (DM) and sold Janssen to Vitesse. Moisander will start tonight, whilst Poulsen still needs 2/3 weeks to become fully fit. Biggest lost for Ajax though is the absence of striker Sighthorsson (given rest last weekend against NEC) due to a shoulder injury suffered on the training. This means De Jong will leave his midfield position to play as striker tonight. NAC on the other hand gained a point at Willem II during the first match and suffered a home loss (0-1) against Twente last week. As I expect Ajax to win tonight, I do not see a 3 goal difference win tonight with NAC having on intentions at all to leave their own half. The +2½ should just be enough to cover the spread in my opinion!

Good luck to those who may follow (some) of the plays!
