Well, they didn't.
Wasn't able to post yesterday, but this Euro 2012 has been a disaster for me. Everything that could go wrong, did. Ain't even funny no more! Think I'm gonna sit the final out and just relax and enjoy the game! Focus on the new season from now on, which already starts next week with the quali matches for the Euro league(s).

This strange, I followed swordsandtequila on his corner bets on the Spain - Portugal game. I played over 9½, 10-12 and over 12½.
Just took a look at my graded wagers, and I lost the over 9½ and over 12½, but I won the 10-12... I thought only the corners during regular time counted?Comment -

What a great final we have seen yesterday!
Wasn't able to post on the forum yesterday, but decided not to play anything and just enjoy the game. Spain played absolutely marvelous. Italy didn't know what struck them, and possibly still don't.
Spain has silenced everyone who had something to complain about them... And how about being from Spain, EC, WC, EC. Wow. Just wow.

So, back from a nice vacation in Greece (the island Crete to be specific) and ready for the start of the Eredivisie tonight.
Although I had planned not to place any bets during my vacation (the misses must have known I would not be able to resist...) I was able -due to a crappy wifi connection- to play two matchups I really liked:
1. PSV pk +155 over Ajax last Sunday, PSV won 4-2.
2. Dinamo Kiev pk, +½ -115 over Feyenoord last Tuesday, Kiev won 0-1.
I was glad to see both of them hitting for a nice start of the season. Ofcourse, these plays will not be counted in the record for the upcoming year since I wasn't able to post the plays in the thread (for which I'm sorry).
Let's hope we can start with a nice Eredivisie weekend, starting tonight with Willem II - NAC. I just got out of the plane so I haven't been able to do some research (only know that the line is at pk) but I may have a small play, just because I have an itch to bet tonight!Comment -

Welcome back Burk. Started following/betting soccer late in this last season, so this season will be my first "opener". Learned a lot, mostly which leagues/teams to avoid, still got a ways to go. With NFL/NCAA football starting too, hopefully it's a profitable year! Cheers.

I expect PSV to open up strong to the season against a RKC side which has lost their best players in comparison to last season. With Van Bommel and Narsingh as additions to the PSV squad I see them as the heavy favorites for the title this year, as showed in the game against Ajax last week.
I kinda feel the bookies are overrating RKC on this one, based on their performances last year. An 0-2 or 1-3/1-4 type of game would not surprise me at all. PSV is only missing Toivonen (suspension) and will be looking to make a statement from the get go.Comment -

Wow, how about that! Who would have thought.... Not me, clearly.
I haven't seen anything yet, but when I saw the 0-1 on my mob phone after 8 mins I thought this was gonna be an easy one for PSV! It seems like away teams have more and more problems winning away games, even the traditional top favs.
I'm always hesitant for 1H plays, so tonight has only proved my gut feeling was right.

It's a cold cold world out there! Rough start indeed, Ajax can't even win also. Pissing away a 1-0 HT lead within 5 minutes.. Unlucky further on with a ball on the crossbar and a last second near goal by Janssen.
That same Janssen will probably move to Vitesse next week, whilst Anita will probably move to Newcastle. Ajax needs to invest in some new players (Assaidi - Heerenveen will sign this week apparently) fast, especially defenders / defending midfielders.
The new winger Sana made a great first impression in the 2H.
