Pretty solid picks there all round the -180 mark. I quite like all of them. I will put a couple of them in some parlays for a bit of fun.

My picks are in my thread, and I am wondering how you guys would devise a way to bet on them. They are Benfica, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Merseille. Obvioulsy Benfica and Bayern are very short and Inter and Marseille are even money. If you had $1000 to bet on these four teams how would you split it?

I'm not a big fan of playing such short priced bets (only from time to time in parlays) so if it was up to me I'd only bet those two to win $ 100 each, and split the rest on Marseille and Inter at even money.

Long term, if you lose those short priced bets, it gets harder and harder to recover from..

Seems like the teams who have played European games mid week mostly tend to have problems the next game within 2 or 3 days.

Feyenoord lost at Vitesse, Twente still goalless at home vs VVV, and PSV and AZ tied at 1-1 at HT.

ha oh yeah, meant Heerenveen. PSV is another one though that I may play...got a good home record against AZ and AZ dont impress me at all this season so far

Looking good so far...should of gone a lot bigger on this what with AZ's poor form and playing midweek...was destined to be at least a 2 goal difference..

Same here! But couldn't pull the trigger after Feyenoord burned me last weekend at Heracles when I picked Heracles +½.

But I've seen the game and Feyenoord should have won that one. Very unlucky loss.

Scored goals for Helsingborg but failed to find form at Lokeren so doubt he's gonna suddenly turn in to a goal machine in Eredivisie

True! Anita has left to Newcastle and with Enoh still injured and Poulsen not match ready we lack a defensive midfielder. Schone can play the position for the moment, but in the CL and against PSV/Twente will not be an option.

We got 6 mil for Van der Wiel on the last transfer day, so that's great since we already had Van Rhijn as his stand in and Van der Wiel not playing well the last year.

You can leave the a bit part out there! It's not without reason Van Gaal hasn't selected him for the Dutch squad. Not sad to see him leave Ajax for sure!
