I'd go +1 perhaps. Draw could happen, but I think Sunderland won't lose by more than a goal.

I don't think I could pick anything right if you spot me the final score. Porto is tough to go against since they rarely concede. Their opponents had a nice home win against Benfica, but Benfica isn't as good as Porto. Under would probably be my bet here. Porto rarely concedes goals and I'm betting on the road, they'd be happy to slip in a goal or two and win 1-0 or 2-0. You'd think Guimaraes would pay particular attention to D after getting lit up last match by Academica.

So over is probably likely.

KARA has been taking time off from soccer as he usually does this time of year.. so I have been on my own for the most part.. i been finding the right spots to go against the bigger clubs and been doing a great job of it..

but when Kara is ready to attack.. should be fun to tail again =)

I'm just running way hot and cold right now, mostly cold though. Need to get some positive streaks together, win 2 of 3, win 3 of 5 or 4 of 6, instead of 1-5 or 0-6 or going 4-0 and then going 0-6. Consistency, but winning consistency. I don't press on making picks, certainly don't play every day in soccer/futbol because I don't know enough about alot of the lesser leagues - just enough to get me in trouble.

The idea again is to try and go 1-1 with this for a neat profit. I think Inter & Tottenham would both be satisfied with a result today with the way things have gone for them both through the earlier part of the group stages. Rubin Kazan has just proven to be a tough nut to crack in this competition and surely could take a point.

The only thing I had yesterday was the draw on the Rangers. They were successful with shutting down Man U. I'm sure they will deploy the 5-4-1 formation again to shut down stronger team or when they only need a draw. The u2.5 in any of their game is probably also a safe bet.

I haven't really done any testing or anything, but to me it seems reasonable that there'd be a better value in betting draws than in a win for either side. My simple reasoning is that betting on draws is something that's rarely (if ever) done by the casual gamer, and cappers also seem to have a tendency to avoid draws. Therefore, the bookies have to adjust the odds to balance the books, rendering a better value for draws.

Going to go with the group that has seen draws in six of the eight clashes through the group stages. Group K with Liverpool, Napoli, Utrecht & Steaua Bucuresti.

NAPOLI-LIVERPOOL +260

Utrecht may well burst their scoreless bubble against the Romanians today, but they have so far been content with working their defense and taking a point. That might not be a bad strategy as another point today will have them either in sole possession of 2nd in this group of tied. Against a stronger side, Steaua Bucuresti might be risky here, but they can score and with Utrecht seemingly a little gun shy to play too much offense, they could steal a point. I think Liverpool without their big guns and on the road will be extremely happy if they take a result in Napoli. It would keep them on top of the group and help shove their domestic struggles down a bit. Napoli still has to play on the road at Utrecht and Liverpool, but a point today won't be the worst scenario for them.

Both teams can score goals in bunches, but it is Palermo's weaker defense that could help yield the over in this one. They rarely keep clean sheets and the Russians have already pounded home six goals in their two group stage matches. The Russians have also tallied multiple goals in six of their last seven overall. The question is probably can Palermo penetrate their defense which has kept clean sheets in six straight overall? Seeing as the Italians have only been held scoreless once in eleven tilts since their domestic campaign began, I think they can. For me, if this doesn't go over ... it will likely be a score draw. So a wise backup might be to place one unit on the over and half a unit on the draw at +233.
