But we all know... no 2 halves are alike so I don't think the next game will be the same as today. This is a very tough game to cap, imo. Even harder then the Germany/Argentina game, because there are no obvious weakness in both teams.

Spain has barely trudged along this WC playing mostly shit teams, but still get over respected, still riding the coat tails of their Euro 2008 win and 30 game win streak or whatever the fuk...meanwhile, Germany has smashed everyone and has gotten better every game.

You keep thinking: "Ok, Spain is showing up big this game", but they don't...they come out flat every game and then get break after break to bail their ass out.

Give me one reason why we should count on Spain playing to its potential? Even if they did, it's still probably not good enough.

I like Germany, Spain has gotten this far but hasn't really showed a whole lot, They were in a fairly easy group with Chile, Honduras and Switzerland and while they went 2-1-0 the loss to the Swiss and they could never really put away Chile in the final group game.

They played a nice game against a tough defensive Portugal, and despite the win vs Paraguay today they were outplayed for the most part --

Germany has been energetic and opportunistic, Spain can't make an errors in this game or it could doom them, and I dont trust Spain to do that.
