Yes, taking penalties is more about having a cool head than finishing ability. Any player can score from 6 yards out but some get very nervous and mess up.

A defender is NEVER around the net, I don't care how calm and cool he is. You saw what he did, he took a terrible shot with too much power that went high. That's a brutal mistake on a penalty.
