Ok first of all I don't wanna sound smart because I come in the thread after a bet, but I just couldn't be post on the weekend....

Too many people underestimate the german team because they simply don't know the team. Just because they didn't play at Chelsea or sth they can't score goals.
On the contrary: Check out Goal statistics: Müller and Klose both 4 goals and Germany a total of 13 goals.
Maradona didn't even know much of the players

And Messi was a real mess. Not a single goal in the whole WC and Argentina (espacially coke sniffin Maradona) relied to much on him. Doubling him was mainly enough, just Tévez dangerous some times.

I'm not saying they're a sure winner because they are not. But it's a young team that already surprised everyone and I'm just loving their play right now!

LB, did you watch the "Hitler" movie? It's shown very well how he became a Führer and climbed to the top of political ladder.

However, Spain is a team with Argentina's quality but with a much more experienced and better manager (though he hasn't shown as much in the World Cup). Not that it means Spain will roll over Germany, but it provides the view from the other side, wihch we need to keep in mind before we make our plays.

sure thing I respect the spanish team and especially their attackers Villa/Torres and of course Casillas... I'm just saying it seems that Germany gets better and better but on the other hand those big favorites can't seem to get the game going...

But one thing is for sure: 2014 will be a good WC for the german team... with all the young players still on board but just more experienced... Prepare to be stunned

I just hope they'll keep the coach. He just seems to fit to the young team and the whole mentality

Looking forward to Netherlands aswell though... I'd love a Holland - Germany football classic.

i have seen it tommy. there isnt anything i havent seen or read on nazi germany. i have studied ww2 like you wouldnt believe.

read " The rise and fall of the third reich " by william shirer. its biased a bit but it is the definitive work on the nazi era. hitler made a few mistakes otherwise he could have controlled the world.

Pretty funny that Hitler practiced some form of vegetarianism, he dident drink any alcohol or used tobacco and he loved being outside in the nature. Not someone you would expect to be responsible for killing millions of people. After a hard day killing and making people suffer he ate carrots´n stuff
