i might be wrong, but hasn't the dog bet (first 90 mins) been a winner in all of the quarterfinal matches? Holland, Ghana (+.5) and Germany. Why does everyone think that Spain is a guarantee winner at -1?

Because of the difference in quality between Spain and Paraguay. There wasn't much difference in quality among sides in the other quarter-finals.

yes, that's true, but the majority of the bets were one sided on at least 2 of the 3 games (brazil and argentina). vegas and everyone made a killing on the first 3 games. If Vegas thought this would be a total blow out spain would be -1.5 or -2 imo. I just don't think the argentina bettors should try to win all of there money back with Spain since it looks so "easy." i might be wrong..
