Morocco v Zambia


The very recent head to head games ended in Morocco winning 2-0 & 3-1. I expect Zambia to park the bus and eventually lose however there is no value pre game on anything backing Morocco. I will wait until half time to do anything if Morocco is down or still tied.

It does not bode well for Comoros here. The last 2 times these sides met 3-0 and 3-0 wins for Mali this year. As mentioned Mali has one of the best defenses in the CAF so I do not see Comoros scoring.

Nigeria is already through to the next round where as Uganda are going to need a result to advance so I expect a fairly open game. Nigeria's last 7 games have all gone over the 2.5 where as Uganda has had 4 of their past 5 go over 2.5, Typically the last group stage trends to the over. Loving the over 2 total goals.

Tanzania are going to need a win to advance so they will be exposed to Tunisia. Tanzania last 2 games were 4-1 & 3-2 results. Tunisia have had all their past 5 games go over 2.5. Once again I see another games that could see plenty of goals.

Botswana has already been eliminated where as the Congo is playing to top the group. Both sides played Senegal and while The Congo tied them 1-1 Botswana lost 3-0. I think the Congo wins by at least 2 goals.

Both teams are playing for second place in the group. Sudan was my pick to finish bottom of the group and if it wasn't for an own goal should have been packing. This is a simple handicap take the much better team to win the game.

Algeria has guaranteed first place in the group where as Guinea are eliminated. Very hard to cap this situation prior to kick off so I'm staying away until at least half time.

Nigeria has had their past 8 games go over 2.5 goals. 4 of the past 5 for Mozambique have gone over 2.5. The last head to head meeting ended 3-2. I will be playing this in game waiting for a good number on the total.

This is the obligatory 3rd place not much to play for over play. This angle has not been doing well in the AFCON as high temperatures usually led to slow paced kick about games. In Morocco the goals have been flowing averaging just over 2.4 goals per game. Egypt has had 5 of their past 8 games go over & Nigeria have had 6 of their last 8 games go over 2.5. They also played a friendly a few weeks ago in December where Egypt won 2-1. Plus money is plenty of value.

I'm expecting a very cautious start to the game with all the pressure on the home side. Both sides are very solid at the back with Morocco keeping 4 clean sheets in a row and Senegal have kept 3 of their past 4 games without conceding. If any one side scores first I will back the in game corner handicap on the trailing side. I am also looking to back cards over if either side takes the lead in the second half.
