Juventus are juiced up to high heaven as expected especially with the arrival of Ronaldo. Juventus barely won versus Chievo in the last minute 3-2. Lazio won the last 2 times they played in Turin 2-1 & 3-2. The +1 Asian Hadicap is worth a punt at these odds.

I'm backing the newly promoted Fulham to pick up their first win this season over Burnley who just had to play in Greece on Thursday (& Lost) in the Europa League. Burnley aside who being tired are missing midfielders Brady & Defour to injury. Unlike the big clubs Burnley just don't have the depth to compete in mid week European competition. Aside from their opening home loss Fulham had a record of 13W and 2 Draws the last 15 home games in the Championship.

This is a form play for me as the visitors Guingamp have lost both their games to start the season and are currently on a 8 game winless streak away from home.They are also riddled with injuries. Lille on the other hand are undefeated to start the season with a win vs Rennes and a draw away to Monaco. Backing another promoted underdog in their home opener vs the mighty Barca. Valladolid actually won their last head to head meeting 1-0, I'm just hoping they don't get blown out at home where they are on a 7 game undefeated streak and in the past 15 have a record of 10W 4D 1L. Barcelona away from home last season in La Liga won 4 games by 3 or more. Won 7 games by 2 and won or tied/lost the rest 8 games. So odds wise I see a .22 value above even money of the likely 2 goal

It was a bad day for me in the Bundesliga on Saturday trying my luck in this one that looks way too close to call. So far we have only seen 1 draw in the opening round in a league that averages 27% where I backed the home side to win.

Last season Levante averaged 2.68 goals per game & Celta averaged 3.13. The last meeting was a 4-2 result for Celta. 3 of the past 4 head to head meeting ended over 2.5. Usually you never get a decent price on Man U at home but it looks like the fair weather birds have left the building and everyone sees doom and gloom for Mourinho. I'm expecting a bounce back performance. Spurs have lost the last 4 times they were in Manchester. The last head to head meeting was a 2-1 Victory for United in a FA Cup match.. Form wise both sides have had 4 of the past 5 games go over 2.5. Last season Spurs averaged 2.89 & United 2.53 goals per match. Both sides have plenty of talent that can find the back of the net.

I'm backing the home underdog here that come into the match with an extra day of rest and good form 13 points out of their past 5 games. Dortmund have not won a league away game since February. The last time they met in Hannover, Dortmund lost 4-2 last season. Getting a goal on the Asian Handicap is great value.

This game is a home vs away play. The last 17 league games Caen manages only 1 win compared over the same time span 15 home games for Dijon only 2 loses. The last 2 games in Dijon ended up with 2-0 scorelines in favour of the home side. I had the game set at 1.80/-125 so any odds better than that equal value.

This game is almost a mirror image of play #43 in France. A promoted side at home versus a heavily bet big public favourite. Parma have not lost a league game at home since mid October last year (12W 6D) Juventus have won by more than 2 goals only 2 times in the past 20 games. Oddly enough even the last head to head Parma actually won 1-0. Hoping the home dogs keep it close.

I don't normally back away sides but the numbers here were too much to ignore in comparison to the odds. Atletico have owned Celta over the last 5 head to head encounters all wins by Atletico both home and away. ELO rank 1930-1725, Transfer value 807-156, S&Y Internationals 20-13 & 10 -5 in points over the past 5 games form wise. I had this game pegged at 1.50/-200 & thus I have to double up on the units wagered.
