Ecuador will face Bolivia in the 2nd round of the CONMEBOL WCQ. Ecuador is coming from a historical win against a weak Argentina's version. Ecuador full backs proven to be deadly in counter attacks. Now it will be their time to show their full speed as they will have to be the aggressor. I think they will have more free space to move forward as Bolivia outside of La Paz is usually a very limited team. I think Ecuador will come out strong to to look for the 3 points and make a statement as a true contender to attend the next world cup. Bolivia has shown their weakness, as stated outside of La Paz and without some of their regulars I think Bolivia will continue their down spiral throughout the qualifications. I think Ecuador can take this 3-0.
Uruguay - Colombia

Uruguay will face Colombia in Montevideo after grabbing 3 points from the Bolivian sky in La Paz 0-2. Uruguay without Cavanni and Suarez is a very average team in offense, their main weapon is the set pieces. They still remain a strong side in defense. Tabarez knows his boys weakness and virtues. Colombia's show down against Peru was decent and good enough to grab the 3 points, although Peru had really good chances to equalize the score. Pekerman finally understood that Falcao should be in the bench and players like Cuadrado, Bacca and Teo should be on the field. This time around I think Pekerman will be more careful as his defense had some trouble with Peru, so I expect a more conservative Colombia. Tabarez will be very wary of Colombia's explosive full backs and will probably be extra careful to not give up much spaces in midfield. I think this will be a very tactical battle where the ball will not flow as easily. If there is a winner it could be by only 1 goal difference but my main call will be a draw 0-0 as I think Colombia has enough power to make Tabarez worry about his defense 1st. Tabarez knows that a 1 point in this match is good. As soon as his main goalscorers come back he should be able to be more aggressive for now, picking up point against a direct contender should be good for both teams.
Paraguay - Argentina

Paraguay will face Argentina in @Estadium Defensores del Chaco. Paraguay is coming from a ugly win against Venezuela in Puerto Ordaz. Paraguay has had a major overhaul in their National team. They played a good Copa America, I think they will continue with that momentum with coach Diaz. I think Diaz smells blood in the water and is a great time to take adventage of Martino's boys. Tata is in a world of pain, he has several starters out and what he has left is just an average side that can hardly produce any chances. I think Martino will try to concentrate more on defense in this match. He know that Paraguay will counter attack Argentina as much as possible. I think he won't go to the offense as often as he would like. The road of qualification is long, he has enough time to get points once his main weapons come back from injuries. I think Argentina's mission in this match is not to lose the game further more than winning the game. Argentina's transition from defense to attack is not well articulated and is worst now that Messi is out, at front Tevez is not enough seems like. Paraguay objective should be to win the game now that Argentina is hurt, it's hard to find Argentina in such a tough situation. I think this game could end 1-0 in Paraguay's favor.
Brasil - Venezuela

Dunga is in dying need of a win in this match. Further more than 3 points, I think Dunga knows how important is for his position that this team performs as best as possible. It's amazing how Brazil performances with Neymar and without are like night and day. The team has the quality, but their something that just don't quite click. Venezuela along with Bolivia I think will be the most limited teams in this qualifying, thier coach is unable to find the right mix and beside most of their players are very average. Jeffren and Amorabieta are probably their best but Amorabieta is out and Jeffren can only do so much. I think Brazil will come out strong to make a statement that everything is fine in the team, I think it will work this time around as they will face one of the weakest teams in the Area but it may not work so well against powerful opponents as we saw the game against Chile. Venezuela will probably try to defend as much as possible and try to keep a close game but without players like Arango, it will be tough to reach the Brazilian cage. I think Brazil will take this game 2-0.Comment -

Toronto has almost clinch a play off spot with 3 games to go. They had been able to win their last 3 games at home. Their offense has been working out good with Giovinco as their top scorer. Their defense is average, they allow goals often. NYRB are on a mission, they are looking to get their hands in that supporter's shield silverware. With one of the best offenses in the league and still well balanced in midfield and defense, I think NYRB have an slight edge in this match. Gio is out, Altidore and Bradly are playing below their capacity (which is nothing new). Altidore and Bradly just lost the CONCACAF final against Archival Mexico, The US will not be going to the Confederation's cup.
