LigaMX Playoffs
Two legged QFs start tonight. Santos Laguna hosts Tigres. Their last three league meetings have ended with score draws. Their 2-3 draw in March @ Santos was crazy with two penalty goals & Santos blowing a 2-0 lead. Tigers struggles to win on the road with just two wins in the Clausura from eight matches. Santos only dropped points twice at home in nine matches. With Tigers dominant at home with a seven match win streak, they will probable be careful not to get behind.

The other QF to open is Pachuca v. America. They played to a scoreless drswcin March. Pachuca had a 7 match unbeaten streak at home sandwiched by season opening & ending losses. America only dropped points twice on the road in eight matches with four draws. Looks very even here too.

Have to look a little more, but trying both draws might again make sense. Both regular season meetings of those match-ups were draws.

This Pachuca America game was great: a lot of nice goals. America had the draw in the last minute but the forward didn't finish it. I'm guessing he couldn't believe he was alone against the goalie. America didn't push too much because a 1-0 win at home gets them through to the semi-finals.

NYC-Chicago
Both teams sporting losing streaks. NYC is at four, Chicago at two. A tough call with Chicago winless on the road and NYC only taking points from one of their last four at home. I think this is a good one to skip until HT and see how it's playing out.

FC Dallas-NY Red Bull
Both Teams to Score looks like a solid option. It has hit in Dallas' last four in a row and all of NYRB's four road tilts and seven of their nine matches overall. Over 2.5 also seems like it has a legit shot. Have to wait to see what the price is on BTTS when my LIVE options open, but I see it pre-match at Bovada @ -130 which isn't terrible. Expecting it slightly better @ DSI hopefully.

The goal for NYC right before HT is huge to keeping Chicago pushing hard in this one. NYC got a red card in the 1H and the Fire were looking threatening before and after that. That NYC found the goal down a man means there's still some hope they can help this out too, but this will rely a lot on Chicago continuing to attack - which they shoud.

BTTS does seems like a nice play. Each team has only had 1 of their last 5 games fail to see both teams score.

This seems like the "too easy" line of the day in MLS. New England unbeaten in eight matches. Toronto has played better on the road with a couple wins lately, but none against top tier teams. Seems like Toronto +0.5 or pass on this one as they rarely seem to be as straight forward as they appear.

Why not? Colorado has played seven draws in ten matches and SKC has played five in ten matches.

Vancouver-Seattle Over 2.5 @ -105
Five of six @ home for Vancouver have hit for three or more. Seattle has three straight Overs on the road. Just seems worth the try even if it missed. 1H Over 1 also seems like a legit shot if you're afraid of any sort of 2H stall out. Vancouver has seen at least one goal in 4/6.

America-Pachuca Over 2.5 @ -125
Said it after their 1st leg, I'm going to go with Pachuca Overs for as long as they last in the playoffs. America has to secure a win to advance and with LigaMX's quirky rules, any win will do because they give an aggregate tie to the higher seed which is America. Hard not to see this being another open affair.

Tigres-Santos Laguna
A draw earns Tigres a trip to the semis with the same aggregate rules. The 1st leg ended 1-1. This one is a little tough to call, but I think either taking another shot at the Draw or waiting until HT to see where it's at would be the best shot.
