LigaMX: 1H PUMAS-Cruz Azul Over 0.5
This # should open to where if you can wait it out a little bit, you'll have a nice price. The Over 1 for the 1H is +115. This term, PUMAS has seen at least one goal in the 1H of 6/8 @ home. Cruz Azul while stingy in general, has surrendered a 1H goal in three of their last five on the road. Both teams are on the outside, looking in to the playoff spots. I don't know that it necessarily means more attacking, but they'll want the win. This will either play out very dull with both teams afraid to make a key mistake or there will be a good pace with both going for a goal to get the lead. Hoping for the latter.
Everything else today, I'm going to wait until HT to see what's what.

Big weekend in Mexico as it is the final matchday before the playoffs begin. I honestly would steer clear of most matches at least until HT to see how teams are going to play. There are only six points separating 1st from 12th place with the Top 8 going to the playoffs, so there can be a ton of movement this weekend.
Tonight, Veracruz hosts Pachuca. Veracruz has nothing to gain. They are tied at the top and locked into a playoff spot. Pachuca is two points off the pace for one of the last two playoff spots. Only a win does anything for them tonight. You would think they would be going for it and goals might be a decent bet, but Veracruz tough to score on still. The other match is Queretaro vs. Chiapas. Chiapas is out, so they may not give a single shit tonight. Queretaro needs a win and help as they sit 10th, but just three points off being as high as 4th possibly. If you're looking for anything pre-match tonight, Queretaro ML might be your bet. Still, I'm going to watch thesr first.

Colorado vs. San Jose
New England seems way too obvious with Orlando City stinking up the league. Getting +115 on New England at a PK seems like a steal, right? That's why I would pass. They should win, but that match stinks of an odd result. A draw might be a better try. Colorado-San Jose also seems a drawy type match or under.

Same thing today. Final match day so plenty of teams who "need points" and plenty of teams who may not care. Just off the schedule, three home sides who need it and are heavier favorites: Monterrey, Cruz Azul & Santos Laguna. All three are going up against teams who can't qualify for the playoffs either. I think only Monterrey I trust enough at the price, but still pretty chalky. Atlas-America could be a decent draw try with both locked into the playoffs and America draws a lot on the road, 4/7 matches. Really the same mode as yesterday for most of these LigaMX matches, I'd watch the 1H and then decide at HT if you want to make plays.

Seems a little too easy to take Chicago ML at home in this one. Perhaps RSL +0.5 or Draw worth a look. Will take a look at the night matches later, but this is the only thing that stuck out among the two earlier matches.

Final match day and still some sorting out to do. Day opens with Toluca hosting Tigres. Tigres is in the playoffs, but they can finish the Clausura in 1st with a win. A draw would see them tie America for the top spot and have a better goal differential. Toluca has it all to play for today. A win and they can leap past both Pachuca and Santos Laguna into the 6th playoff spot. Toluca is unbeaten at home, so they should have a shot as Tigres is a middling road squad. Toluca ML @ +105 seems an okay try. Keep in mind though that they played a 0-0 draw in December at Toluca. Since then though, Tigres has been poor on the road with two wins, five losses and a couple draws.Comment -

NY Red Bull v. NYC
The 1st Battle of NY looks lopsided, right? That's the reason why I think NYC +1 even at an inflated -140 seems like the play here or +0.5 at better odds. The Red Bull have played to 1-1 draws in their last two @ home against LA & Colorado. Overall, they have either shared or lost points in four of their last five. NYC has lost their last two on the road by single goals after drawing their 1st two MLS road matches. Overall, even though they have had a tough time securing wins - they have only one loss out of five by more than one goal. The +1 looks like hopefully a push at worst here and is likely what I will play.
FC Toronto vs. Houston
Tough call here as Toronto finally gets to play their 1st home match. They did manage three wins on the road in their first seven. Houston meanwhile has lost two straight and has two draws and a one goal loss on the road so far this season. Tempted to think this one looks like a shot for Houston +0.5 at + money or a draw. Total is tough too, although I would think the under is better than the over with Toronto putting up successive clean sheets and Houston mostly struggling to score.

NYC +1 down to -125. Definitely on it.
Will wait Toronto-Houston until HT to see if anything warrants a shot. Guadalajara-Morelia in LigaMX is a big nothing match. Morelia though with the flawed LigaMX relegation system will still be in top flight LigaMX next year despite another terrible season. Guadalajara is in the playoffs and can make it a three way tie for first with a win.
I'm going 1H Over 0.5 in that one. The full match total is 0.5, so you should get a decent price early in that one LIVE. Or you could take a flyer on Over 1 @ +115.Comment -

Changing my view from prematch where I thought under would win out here. It still may, but both Toronto and Houston are putting pressure on the opposition. Score is 1-0 Houston at HT. 20 combined goal attempts with six shots on-goal in this one. Houston scored after a missed penalty deflected right back to the penalty taker.Comment -
