i'm actually leaning adelaide in this one. I watched the derby between vic/heart last week and the match was really sloppy and both sides didn't look dangerous at all. Victory's attack was unorganised and everytime they got into attacking field position or striking range, they do short passes and dumb tricks that just either give up possession or go out. Archie thompson didn't feel dangerous at all and wasn't very involved. Players appeared way to casual. That being said, Heart did play all out defense and basically pass to gk and lob.
Adelaide produced a solid performance at home and came out firing. They showed they have dangerous strikers which victory lacked. At home up against a victory side that couldn't score an unfit ageing heart side i'm leaning Adelaide here.

i agree melbourne i reckon generally plays like that away, but because of last weeks poor performance it would be expected they play better so i assume BTTS but united to take it since they are have a strong home team. probs take it 2-1

AUFC PK/DNB is the way to roll IMO.
I would suggest the over, but it's only week two ... Too early in the season to lay that much juice on an ovie.
Good luck lucas. Could be an old fashion SBR burial coming our way.

Next week, Adelaide will go to CCM, it's the best chance for them to win this game at home.
In the history, Victory has never beat Adelaide. The most Victory got only X, but it was long time ago. I do not see Victory can do any damage to bring down Adelaide, unless Adelaide wants to lose this game on purpose.
Good luck!!!

Victory has defeated Adelaide before, they even did it last year. Last time they did it in Adelaide was in 2009. But none of that matters anyway as both teams are different even from last year. Don't read too much into last weeks melbourne derby either, this game will be completely different.
Adelaide have to make some changes and it is impossible to say how they will go as this is the first time this group will start together. Likewise Victory will have Milligan back, which will be a big boost for them if he really his fit.
Too hard to pick a side IMO. But neither team will sit back in their half and we should see a fairly open game of soccer. I took the over when it was -110 a couple days ago. I would recommend the over but not if you have to eat too much chalk.

bol to us! i do have a strong feeling with A united but the thing is in reality this is a league, its no european team. they have strong players that have the potential to score but end of the day the ball has to be at the back of the net to win.

Bear in mind Adelaide will be missing Boogard and Isaias who will be suspended

It's chicken, not kangaroo at all. 2-0, then 2HT 0-2, what a shame.
Luckily I got my Over 3.

I am still freaking mad with that Swansea goal. Stuupid. By the end of the game got penalty.
O.K. I pick Brisbane Roar tonight. I go with public.
Wait a minute! I pound the Over 2.5. If there is the option, pound the Over 3 ( at least we will get PUSH).

Going up against their old coach, who ditched them for Melb Victory. They will be very keen to spoil the party.
Also now that Ange is Socceroos coach, all aussie players will be giving their all to impress, no slacking off in this game. And no reason for Brisbane Roar to not give 100 percent, it will guarantee they are still top of the table going into next week.
Over for me.

Roar are pretty much the only team in the aleague that know how to score goals and finish well. Victory are a quality side who always dangerous but their finishing is absolutely atrocious. If archie thompson learnt how to finish, they could be winning games 5-1.
This will be a high scoring game because both sides attack is very good. i think o2.5 or BTTS is the play here
