One reason this stimlulus package never got done was all of a sudden after 4 years so called fiscal Conservative Republicans found there Conservitism all of a sudden. When Trump puts Meadows as a lead guy, who used to run the Tea Party and a friend of Mulvaney in charge to work this out, did you really think anything would happen when all the Tea Party ever did was vote against everything....Everything....

[White House chief of staff Mark] Meadows made an offer to extend enhanced unemployment at $600 per week for four months as a stand-alone bill. This is a new offer from the White House, and further than Republicans have gone thus far. Itβs an extension of current law β something the GOP has railed against. Pelosi and Schumer rejected the offer, and countered with extending enhanced unemployment insurance at the same rate β $600 per week β through the first quarter of 2021.
