Europe’s energy crisis is ‘clear and present warning’ for US

In recent months, European consumers and businesses have been hit with massive energy bills due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, which upended global oil and gas markets due to Russian producers' dominance, and an aggressive transition to green energy sources like wind and solar pushed by several major European nations.
Amid the crisis, Europeans have been forced to take drastic measures to conserve energy and keep bills low while governments have imposed rationing rules and introduced relief programs. The letter noted that the crisis has forced manufacturing plants to close and will likely lead to major blackouts throughout the winter in Germany.

You can thank your boy for talking to the saudis to stop the oil wars with russia and allowing them to purchase a US oil refinery in of all places, texass. If the saudis had any couth, they would step up, but I think they want Europe to tank so they will split off the UN like pootin and rump wanted them to. Of course that's just my drunken observation. Oh, foxspews...

Hey Little man. All the problems facing America today, and half the energy problems the world is facing are all under Joes watch. They are Joes problems. Created by Joe... Grow up and stop trying to sound smart or funny.

Saudi Arabia's state-owned oil company took full control of the sprawling Port Arthur refinery on Monday that is the largest refinery in the US.

Saudis take 100% control of America's largest oil refinery
            May 1, 2017: 1:53 PM ET

America's largest oil refinery is now fully owned by Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Aramco, the kingdom's state-owned oil behemoth, took 100% control of the sprawling Port Arthur refinery in Texas on Monday, completing a deal that was first announced last year.

Port Arthur is considered the crown jewel of the US refinery system. The Gulf Coast facility can process 600,000 barrels of oil per day, making it the largest refinery in North America.

Aramco previously owned 50% of Port Arthur through a joint venture co-owned with Royal Dutch Shell (RDSA) called Motiva Enterprises.

But the two oil giants had a rocky relationship and reached a deal in March 2016 to separate their assets. Shell put out a statement on Monday confirming the "completion" of that break-up.

Texas gasoline prices spike as OPEC+ announces cut in oil production
              October 5, 2022, 4:01 PM

Only a week ago, the Texas weekly gas price average dropped for the 15th week in a row.

That was until OPEC+ on Wednesday announced plans to make production cuts of as much as 2 million barrels per day.

“The news is already putting upward pressure on crude oil futures as well as retail pump prices, even in places like Texas, where gas prices have been dropping steadily over the past few weeks,” said AAA Texas spokesperson Daniel Armbruster.
