On the Steam Plays - I ran a report yesterday for September 1, 2011 - January 31, 2012 and the results were +175 units for that period using the line sent out on the alerts. That was assuming 110-100 on every play, even when the play flipped.

I think (obviously!) SportsOptions gives you the most bang for your buck, but I always encourage everybody to try out each service before making any purchases.

What do you use now?

If you use SBR Odds or something else that's free or low priced and are doing just fine with your bets already I can't see how the price would be justified. From what I remember the interface was laid out a bit cleaner but it's been awhile since I've used it so that could have changed now. If Sports Options had all of the tennis matches I'd buy it. I like the setup and the guy talking to me when there's a steam or key move, injuries, lineups, etc. Just right now he said "umpires" haha. Right now I use oddsportal which is pretty wicked for this side of the world but they show so many books I've never heard of I'm convinced some of them are run out of caves. I think trials are the way to go so you get the chance to see what works for you. No point paying even a dollar for something if you would hardly use it.

Yes it is cheaper than Don Best but there are reasons

Don Best has a MUCH BIGGER staff for one..software way more efficient..they have more books also

Many guys like sports Options

Bronxer is right about steam plays your not getting that line most of the time and most guys here do not bet enough to make it worthwhile

www.sbrodds.com works for most..many mid range bettors even use it

Don Best has a Beta IPHONE APP which is very good already

i've been using the sports options free week and watching the SO line changes vs. sbrodds. I would say SO shows a line change roughly 5 to 10 seconds before sbrodds (when sbrodds is running smoothly). I'm not sure it's worth $299 or $99 a month. However, i do like the site and I wish i hand't lost all my points fading Brock Landers (Denver/Steelers) or i would have bought a month of SO.
