I did mention the rookie LT starting for SD, who was undrafted not all Pac10 at UCLA. He has gotten some time in preseaon, but I agree with you, this position is the most important for QB protection and having an underperforming rookie starting the 1 st game bad news. People often see the skill players, and forget to remember the players in the trenches enable the "stars" to do their thing in the first place.

Oakland should exceed alot of expectations this year. McFadden being there is important, they won at Texas, vs the Jets, and at Denver when he was playing last year. They also had to play NE, GB, Texas, chicago, and Det out of their division/conference last year. Seems like they are being overlooked this year, but they are going to have to tighten up on D, one of the worst last year in alot of categories.

Lol, I rely on my encylopedic memory too much. You are right, soo I looked it up, they did lose to Buffalo by 3 with McFadden. I fixed my post, and replaced Buffalo with the Jets who they beat by 10 with McFadden. Impressive wins with McFadden in there nonetheless, his production and explosiveness are undeniable and Oakland did well against a tough schedule considering they replaced their QB and lost their top RB in week 7 last year.

Palmer did have 400+ yds against this team the last game of the season. He also had 4 straight 300+ yd games at home to close out the season.

I should have known better than to assume denarius Moore would play. Would have been completely different game with him playing.

We also get screwed by the long snapper getting hurt - supports the theory that anything can happen.
