I think this was pretty shitty of you to do. You have no proof and didn't get a camera review but you are spreading around that he's a thief. So now people will be talking behind his back and if he didn't do it he can't confront his accuser or know what tape to have reviewed to clear his name. There was a cashier on one of the gambling boats in Myrtle beach who overcounted some $100s when I was cashing in my chips at the end of the cruise, meaning she hand counted $1400 but voice counted the correct amount of $1500. I corrected her and was a little suspicious but didn't say anything. It happened again the next time I went out and I glared at her and curtly told her she was short a hundred again. I still didn't say anything but she didn't stay there for long, probably stealing from the boat too.

why would it be shitty?

he conned me and i am 100% convinced he knew what he was doing.

1. when i handed him the money, he counted the money to himself when other clerks count them on the counter

2. when i tried to take back the money to count for myself he got angry and quickly set aside the $100 bill.... pretty sure i saw another bill under it.

3. i know exactly how much i took there and when i counted them later i was short $20

If this really happened you privately ask to speak to the manager or supervisor. They will call surveillance and have footage set aside to view themselves when time allows or a quick review by a surveillance operator(casinos differ in procedures). You won't get to see the footage but if you were shorted you will be paid. Most places suspend and term thieves. If it is LVH they will be quick to pull trigger on any employee theft as they are doing mass layoffs due to bankruptcy. One less potential unemployment claim if termed for theft.

Saying something to another writer was not the way to handle this.
