Have a lean for tonight yet buddy? I'm going with BAL for one reason only....I don't trust Leftwich to get his first win as a starter in over 6 years (not including last game). PIT D clearly the better of the two, but I still think BAL will get theirs and Leftwich will struggle to get PIT enough points to keep up. Thoughts?

love the Pitt secondary vs Flacco, Leftwich has a good team around him and only needs to be a caretaker. Good defenses tend to step it up when their QB is out. Rothlisberger is worth about 4 points so there is an overreaction.

I've been on Pitt +3.5 for a few days now myself. I could never trust Flacco on the road right now, and I agree that the Pitt defense should step up tonight. Its not like Leftwich is some kid who's never started a game before, he just needs to not give the game away.

I can see why you like the under. I actually have a slight lean to the over but I'm not betting it. The games between these two have been going over the last few years & 3 of the last 4 of Balt's games have gone over. People think in terms of the Baltimore defense as how it used to be but they have been giving up a ton of passing yards this year. I can see the Pittsburgh offense even with Leftwich putting up more than 20.
I think Pittsburgh wins this game but I'm taking more than a fg cushion. I'm not betting any props either because I like the Pittsburgh side the best and it's tough to gauge what the game plan will be with Leftwich in. With only one unit in play, win or lose this game & I'm going to guarantee myself a winning day to finish up a winning weekend & that's a good feeling. GL with your plays.

KInda off question but how does overtime affect the spread lets say i take the bears +5 tonight and the game goes into overtime and san fran scores a touch down wins by 6 would i lose or would i win because at the start of the game i was giving 5 point so at the end of regulation bears won by 5 points making my bet a winner is this correct?sorry if this is a stupid question lol

You lose. The spread is towards the final score not the end of regulations.

When I read up on some bears stats I couldn't go with anything but SF. Since the bye week even with Cutler, the Bears have had 39 drives starting in their own territory and produced just 2 TDs, 5 fgs, and gave up a safety. This includes 17 punts, 7 turnovers, 4 turnovers on downs, & 3 missed fgs. Half of their drives have been 4 plays or less. This was games against Det, Car, Ten, & Hou. They were going downhill even with Cutler. Chicago depends largely on defensive turnovers and scores & I don't think they'll get them vs SF's ball control offense. I don't think there's much drop off at all with Kaepernick in SF's offense either.
