Cassel is fully healthy. Charles is fully healthy. Bowe is back. Eric Berry is fully healthy.

I look for the Chiefs to be the surprise of the AFC this season.

The only thing they are missing is a QB.

Broncos defense is not atriocious as you say. The Broncos defense will be ranked higher then the chiefs at year end. They were not that bad last year even though they were on the field the entire game. The chiefs finish third this year and go 8-8. The Broncos win this division at 10-6

I like them a bit less after their ugly last 2 preseason games (the one in week 2 Cassel actually impressed in).

That's very close to being atrocious. Much more accurate than the picture you're trying to paint. They aren't even in the top half of the league in any important statistical category.

I see you didn't actually watch the Denver games last season. Their defense was on the field the entire game and their offense continually went there and out but they held. Nevertheless having a dominant pass rush this year combined with Manning is enough to get giddy.

Manning looked very good against the probably the best defense in the NFL. The top 3 being the Ravens, 49ers, and Steelers. He will carve up the rest. Tracy Porter is a the missing 2nd corner the Broncos have been waiting for ever since Champ Bailey arrived.
