    You're kidding right? How will Oklahoma win a 1 loss tiebraker with Texas since they have already lost to them? I don't know the Big12 rules but I thought in case of tiebreakers the head to head loss is at a disadvantage.

      Last year a 3 loss Florida team was a 11 point favorite in their bowl game, and would of been favored of Ohio St.

      Yeah, but you are talking about an undefeated, #3 team in the nation in Penn St. Penn St. would be favored by 7+ in your scenario.

        It is a 3 way tie, with round robin losses, Oklahoma has the highest ranking thus wins the tiebreaker

          Last season Ohio St was the #1 team in the nation. Yes they had a loss but they were #1. They were favored by 4.5 points against Michigan. Florida the next game 3 losses -11 against Michigan. So a 3 loss Florida team last year would clearly have been favored over the #1 team in the nation by bookmakers.

            I really think a lot of you underestimate the talent on Penn St. I'll take them as a dog against any team in the country.

              rm, did you see the site that NEP wrote in his post? In that site, they said if Penn St. played Florida today...the spread would be Florida -4.5 Now if you factor in 2 losses...no way they are favored. None. You are basically saying that an unranked team(which Florida would be if they lose both Georgia and Florida St.) would be favored over #3 Penn St. at a neutral site in a bowl game. Sorry, buddy. But once again, no fvcking way.

                Here are the Big 12 tiebreaker rules if three (3) or more teams are tied for a divisional title, note #5 on the list.

                Divisional Tiebreakers: The following procedure will determine the representative from each division in the event of a tie:

                If two teams are tied, the winner of the game between the two tied teams shall be the representative
                If three or more teams are tied, steps 1 through 7 will be followed until a determination is made. If only two teams remain tied after any step, the winner of the game between the two tied teams shall be the representative.
                1. The records of the three teams will be compared against each other
                2. The records of the three teams will be compared within their division
                3. The records of the three teams will be compared against the next highest placed teams in their division in order of fi nish (4, 5 and 6)
                4. The records of the three teams will be compared against all common conference opponents;
                5. The highest ranked team in the first Bowl Championship Series Poll following the completion of Big 12 regular season conference play shall be the representative
                6. The team with the best overall winning percentage [excluding exempted games] shall be the representative
                7. The representative will be chosen by draw.
