FTR, I wouldn't let Broke post your plays beforehand -- especially when he puts the ticket itself up. Might as well take your money and throw it off your balcony.

I know Chalk's been posting your plays now and again here, but correct me if I'm wrong: this is the first time he's passed one off as his own with a link.

Nothing to be ashamed of. If I came from money, I'd suckle off the teet as long as possible too.
Well... no comment. I certainly wouldn't make any financially irresponsible decisions. I gotta get some use out of my finance degree after all. If i can't even manage my own finances, that was a big waste of 4 years! But yeah... hypothetically, even if I was going $200,000 in debt the next 3 years to live here and go to Northwestern, I'd still probably be alright just based on the way Northwestern law places up here compared to schools like Illinois/Depaul/ITT/Loyola/ETC... but no, I'm not going into debt.

            Since the game went over...

Speaking of law school, how do you feel about the exclusionary rule, the existence of exigent circumstances and how it affects the fourth amendment, in general?

I've met a couple of people from my building and then went to a pre law school preview class and met up with some people. A pretty young crowd around here, especially with the concerts here lately. I met a pretty sexy intern that works at the new hospital down here, lives a couple floors below me. I've lost like 10 pounds just walking around up here... I don't know how anyone is fat in this city, especially with no car.

Exactly. Just like you wouldn't be making multi-thousand dollar bets without a safety net. It's all good.

No problem, I usually call "preview class" a prerequisite. The study of "tort" if definitively a preview class, that is before law school. In either case, I enjoy talking to my peers and gathering their personal opinions on subjects. Have you read, "Critical Thinking: What it is and Why it Counts," by Dr. Peter Facione. Great read if you get the chance.

I don't care to talk about where I went school on a public forum for obvious reasons, but yes a very good read.

I once read Archimedes some how deduced that the upward buoyant force exerted on a body immersed in a fluid is equal to the weight of the fluid the body displaces. In other words, an immersed object is buoyed up by a force equal to the weight of the fluid it actually displaces.

Basically explaining how things float back in the 200 B.C. period.

He also explained just using imagery and imagination in his head how on a fulcrum a cone and a hemisphere could balance out a cylinder on the other end of a fulcrum.

Guy was a pure genius like Einstein.

Yep, that is my experience as well. Most of my friends got helped who put effort into it. Just kind of what happens in society, most parents will help if they can. I was lucky enough to not have to pay a dime for UG though, so at least my parents slipped the bill on that one, haha

Nice work Picker. Chicago is one of my favorite cities..........know it well. I believe you're very close to the "Aqua Tower" (North Columbus between Randolph and Wacker) which........if you're in to architecture at all........is a kick ass building/tower.

Do yourself a favor and get out of the apartment..........lots to see and do within walking distance of your location.
