Very exciting to watch the girls gymnastic win the gold.. 2 time state champion in football.. went to college and played ball, work in finance now... nothing compares to winning those titles, but like you said doesn't mean much now

It can be ANYONE... a coach or a team or an individual. The rules are... it must be Tournaments or Playoffs and a minimum of 100 games played.

Arizona, junior year. Late '90's. Won the state title. The ratings didn't match up, because in the state of Arizona it wasn't USCF ratings that we used, it was Arizona's scholastic ratings. Anyway, paid for college because my play was so ahead of my rating once I got into the USCF tournaments, specifically in december in vegas - and I kept winning the events or placing well. Got it all the way up to just over 2000 before I stopped playing. I would bet I would drop a couple sections, but for sure u2000, if I were to rate my play now.

Was conference champ in shot put junior year in HS. Obvious favorite to win it my senior year, would of placed myself as a -300 favorite. Got drunk a week before championship meet and fukked up my wrist falling down the stairs. Didn't even place at the championship. Then placed last in the 4x100 relay. But that was no one's fault. We were just slow.
