Im buying the chances more so then last year. The schedule is pretty weak for a month after the giants. Loads of games vs the cubs astros and 6 against san diego. The last 10 are 4 at the mets then at home vs the reds and braves for 3 each id love to see them make that stretch. will be interesting what the do before the trade deadline. I admit i'd been half rooting for the pirates to lose in mid june so they could be seller's and punt the season. trading guys like burnett, hanrahan, crilli, cruz, ect could get them a prospect to be the power bat they need in 2014.
but i've slowly come around to rooting for the owner to open up the wallet and trade for the biigest impact bat the pirates can.Comment
