Cannot stand these announcers that try to explain everything. If Lebron's shoelace comes untied they would say he didn't focus enough in the locker room, etc. etc.

There is unavoidable randomness in sports. You think every time Halladay has a bad start it's because he didn't focus properly? When a guy misses 50% of his free throws in a game, is it because he didn't care enough? If a guy hits 100% is it because he sat alone in the stands 5 hours before the game and meditated? No... there will always be randomness.

Any announcer who thinks the better team should always win 100% of the time (and if they don't it's because of lack of focus or caring enough) is a fool.

I agree with skip. Some people really want it more. It just turns out that Lebron wanting it more is greater than anyone else wanting it more because Lebron is better skilled. Athletes do listen to these analysts unfortunately.

Same freethrow percentage over how many shots taken? If one has joined that competition and failed lets say 2 times and the other is a virgin to the competition I would take the guy with more experience. wanting it more isnt just one thing

Anyone that is on skip's side needs their head examined. He is what is wrong with sports journalism. Has only made a name for himself because he says things that rile everyone up.
