And Mark Cuban did not say that "players don't care what Skip Bayless says" in particular but he was referring that players don't care what the media says in general.

Hmm..i think yeah maybe in a couple of areas.

But Skip was spot on about LeBron in the finals - comparing this year to last. Sure Mavs defense deserves credit, but like Skip mentioned, they 'didn't have to do anything because he was just standing in the corner in the 4Q'.

Miami could've won last year if it weren't for LeBron and he knows it. It's not like Mavs dominated them - Heat played extremely well and even had some big leads on some games, until late 4Q, when LeBron went missing. Cuban tried to give his Mavs credit for that, but they simply don't deserve credit in that one area. "he goes to his left" ...umm no Cuban, James can do much more than just that when driving to the rim.

Bayless is an absolute moron. He's the equivalent of Bill O'Reilly and the political pundits alike. He is skilled in the art of argument and uses fallacies of logic to get across his skewed perspective. He takes ridiculous sides to arguments that he creates for shock and awe. Adrian Peterson will run for 200+ yds. and 2 TD's and Skip will say he's the most overrated RB in football. He's a complete ass hat. The Tebow nonsense last year was asinine.

Both guys looked like morons in my opinion. I hate Bayless, but he was right about LeBron. Cuban attributed LeBron's struggles all towards the Mavs defense. Sorry Mark, but LeBron just didn't show up to play last year against your guys. However, I'm glad someone stood up to Bayless.

The truth is that Lebron could have had several championships in Cleveland as well if he didn't disappear in games. No way should Orlando have won that series but Lebron felt he couldn't guard Turkuglu so he defended Rafer Alston instead

Lebron finally looked in the mirror and stepped up his own game in the playoffs and he wins a title.

When you are a professional in a sport or in this case , a team owner that has been taught how to understand what is going on by professionals, blowing people out of the water is easy.

Writers rarely know what to ask, in any sport.

That is common knowledge in the world of sports.

If you are a professional, you understand that.

You accept that.

Any professional in any sport could do that to the press.

Most don't.

The 6:00 mark is a pretty good support of your point. He (Cuban) is actually asking him to specifically name/qualify/describe the scheme or coverage, which is just lame and not what anybody who covers multiple sports would necessarily know. You'll notice Cuban's response is not very specific or good, which makes it even more awkward.

This is not to say that Skip doesn't do egregious and exaggerated things; he does. That's also part of being a sportswriter/personality. Now he should be called out from time and again, but in legitimate ways.

You are 100% correct.
Cuban tries to call him out on a specific. That shows me that his actual knowledge is limited.
Don't we all know that any pro coach or manager could do this every day of the week if they chose to do so?
Of course they could.
Most pros understand that guys like Skip or Steven A. would not know the details but have enough class to not expose it.
Not Cuban.
