But yeah your right, I was a little surprised their attendance rate would be so high

Just saw MLS has a higher average attendance than NBA and NHL.
Doesn't that have something to do with the arena/stadium sizes?

probably does but I have seen 30-40k capacity stadium with under 1000 people in there...the size is important but its not everything

Settle down...it still has much lower attendance than NFL and no major tv contract. I would put even money that MLS goes defunct in the next 20 years, just like every other soccer league in the US has.

And the free kick pussy wall plays out as said in post #43.
Czech were a pussy hair away from giving up a goal on the 2nd free kick, awarded after a handball on the first free kick. Nearly cost your team the game because you insist on illegally protecting yourself. It's good to see such team players, tough sobs who think it's worth putting their team at serious risk to lose the game in order to prevent getting a body shot from a ball that will do nothing but sting for 3 seconds
This is unacceptable pussy play any way you slice it, yet no one at all will denounce it

I will take even money for the max. Major money is being introduced and the fanbases are becoming larger and more passionate. The league has finally realized who they need to market to.

I guess we'll see...we're 15 years in and all but 2 or 3 teams are losing money. How much longer can they do that? If there's so much growth, why hasn't 15 years been enough for profitability?

I think the diving by Italian players today was the worst I've seen this Euro Cup.
