Like in the NBA, players flop all the time. You should know why soccer players dive or try to make fouls look horrible, because they want opponents to get yellow cards, then eventually red cards. You see soccer players flop a lot in the penalty area, because they can get penalty shots. Just like in other sports, soccer players use these tricks to win games... although, sometimes soccer players can get yellow cards for flopping in the penalty area. If you don't like soccer, just leave it alone and don't bash it. Other sports have shortcomings too: horrible referees in the NBA, concussions in the NFL, slow and boring in the MLB. The debate of which sports are better than others, can go on and on forever, at the end, no one will win... Now and then, you just create a thread like this, it will just piss people off.

They bring up their arms to shield themselves risking a handball. They cover their nuts with both hands, making their position less solid. Another thing that is completely wrong is the "gay" thing you're suggesting. It's all a matter of different cultures. In the USA people keep their distance or at most hug each other, bump chests, give high 5's etc. In other countries it's acceptable to keep smaller distances between each other. It's normal for men and women to kiss each other on both cheeks, no big deal. In some other countries they kiss each other 3 times on the cheek. Perfectly straight people do this and there is absolutely no gay connotation involved. In sports especially where you've got so much intensity built up and you score a goal the celebrating can get very intense. So it's wrong to get this kind of idea going.
