Baccarat can make or break a casino's earnings. Casino will tolerate the superstitions.

And it is not the best game to win. The only "beatable" games are:

Video Poker (with cash back, free play, and other incentives from the casino)

Black Jack (counting, hole carding, etc.)

*Craps. Assuming you believe in dice control and can learn it, I don't. Also if you stick to pass/don't pass and can afford to take max odds every time (assuming the casino rates players including odds). You may get enough incentives to make the game even or maybe even have a little advantage.

I don't know about make or brake their earnings, but when you have people willing to play $100 and higher on bets on which you have a 10% and 14% advantage, it will be foolish of them not to tolerate them.

Plus it helps me out because it slows down the game. More time for the cocktail waitress to come back with drinks.

Wynn, Sands and Asian gaming companies earnings and stock prices are heavily influenced by baccarat results.

Maybe in Macau, but in Vegas the top earner is the one-armed bandit.

Yes but if it wasn't for Macau both Wynn and Sands would be in as poor financial shape than Caesars is. An average Vegas casino should gross about 2.6 mil a week in slots. There are numerous players who could win or lose that over a weekend in bacc in Macau.

                      Cheme,

Lol that is my game. I can clear a table by betting oppsosite of the whole table. They get mad when I bet against them. They start cussing in Vietnamese or Chinese every time!! Lol

Funny thing is I really am not betting against either the house or the table!! Lol this game has nothing to do with either like black jack does!!

                      See u in Vegas!

Yet fish head beats them regularly. Slots are so advanced now they can be too confusing to understand how they pay. I remember when penny machines began to arrive in Vegas and 2 of the big shots at Venetian scoffed at the idea of installing any. We put together reports and pleaded. Finally got 12 machines installed in crappy locations on floor with no signage. After 3 weeks they were our highest win per unit and Rob gave the blessing to install them everywhere.

the house has a little over 1% advantage. it's the bonus bet and tie bet that have over 10% house advantage. I don't get it either why the need to write it down when most casinos have the machine right in front that's keeping tally.

because a lot of ppl (including myself) write down the scores of the hands, not just if it was banker/player/tie/natural etc. also a lot of ppl write down other patterns on the bottom of the card usually in 3 rows. this is a very popular method of looking for a pattern as well.
