So I've been in Miami for a few days and every year I come over I go to the Hard Rock Seminole Casino.

They don't have craps so I usually only play blackjack. I was getting my ass handed to me and around 3 a.m. I went with my last $100 chip to a baccarat table. I went on a crazy run and made all my money back within 20 minutes.

I had forgotten how obsessed people get keeping track of the hands. They literally take like a minute looking at their stupid chart to decide what to bet. Do these people have no knowledge of probability or do their superstitious ways just cloud their otherwise logical minds?

I did at the Luxor Electronic Craps table(the craps machine game with the dice in the middle and no dealers/croupiers) and I wanted to call him an idiot but didn't.

Yep, had a couple of guys at MGM Grand throw a hissy fit because I sat down at a chair at the $15 black jack table they were playing at. Then they tried to get the dealer/pit boss to get me to go away since they were "spending good money" at the table, good fukkin luck trying to get that kind of favor done for you playing at the lowest minimum table in the building. Heck I doubt they would even remove me at a high limit table, the casino is making more money with 4 guys sitting down playing over 3.

I played against a couple who insisted that the best way to play blackjack was to assume the dealer had a 10 in the hole at all times. They kept saying "its better to go down swinging then to not try at all" as justification for hitting for example a 17 against a dealer 10. Freaking morons. It was also funny watching other people at the table listen to these idiots and employ the strategy as well. I tried to tell them that this strategy is awful and carries huge house edge but they insisted they were right. It was mildly entertaining to watch them erode away at their bankroll.

I also played with another group of idiots who used the "never bust" strategy. They said its best if you don't bust at all and insisted this was the best way to play blackjack. Of course this story unfolded just like the story above.

The worst ones though are the idiots who have no idea whats going on and win anyway. I had a bunch of black people probably straight out of the halfway house putting down money at the blackjack table one time and they had no idea how to play at all. So I helped them and told them what to do each hand and they kept winning and went on a huge winning streak as I kept losing. They could have at least gave me a chip or two as a thank you for helping them win all that money.

These same guys were giving me a hard time for surrendering, splitting 3s against a dealer 6 and hitting a 15 against a dealer 10 since I was sitting at 3rd base. They had no idea what basic strategy was or how to play. No matter what move I made they used the move as an excuse for their losing.

It was at a $10 table. It was one older black guy about 50 years old who looked to be a recovering crack addict and homeless(was wearing dirty attire and looked like he hadn't showered in months). Then he had a group of about 4 friends(probably his halfway home room mates) with him watching. They claimed none of them knew how to play black jack and none of them knew what to do, so the dealer had to explain the rules. Since they saw me win a couple hands they just told me to tell them what to do so I said OK. After that they won what had to have been 20 hands in a row including a couple of splits, blackjacks, and double downs. They started with $50 and it was at $300 in no time. Meanwhile I went from $500 to $350 during this span. They probably took all they won and flushed it down the drain via slot machine after I got up or spent it on more crack.

The dark side is the way to go. Better odds playing the don't pass and laying odds than the other way around. I also like the fact that unlike pass line bettors, there is no number that completely kills you (7). Instead when you have money on all the numbers and the shooter sevens out, you get a big-ass train of chips coming your way. I even make the Choo-Choo sound and people get pissed lol.

#1 some Chinese lady tried to explain to me but her English was bad so she confused the **** out of me. From what I understood she said something about it meaning 3 something. Which applies for when the players 3rd. card is a 6, 7, or 8. If you lift the card a little bit on the long end, you will see 3 of something (hearts, spades, diamonds, or clubs) and that means the card is a 6, 7, or 8. So that affects wether the dealer will give the banker a 3rd. card or not.

#3 was pretty obvious from playing BJ when they have and ace they want a "monkey" (10) so that they can get a natural. So for baccarat when de player has a low total, and you are playing banker and have them beat, you want the player's 3rd. card to be a 10 (so that their total doesn't change). Monkey okay.
