leaninig hawks 1-39 thoughts?

i think hawks win this but i like the value in the port line...why not get some extra points with the 1-39

I agree that it was pretty tough conditions to play in and how Richmond play certainly didn't suit this. Pavlich was also huge/the difference in a tight game. But games like this -vs Freo in Melbourne are absolute must-wins for them, especially after the form they've been in recently. They had lots of opportunities but didn't show up.

Essendon and West Coast did have bad losses (Essendon again last night). However, without being 'Captain Obvious', Essendon and West Coast are 8-3 & 8-2 (currently 3rd and 2nd on the ladder) and already basically locked into finals. Alternatively, Richmond are 5-6 with a significantly worse percentage behind Fremantle and Carlton. I believe the situations are markedly different.
Anyway,good luck next week against GWS. Should be a good bounce back opportunity..provided it doesn't rain

You can take a 'set' kick after the siren, but the player left his line which is consider 'play on' but because the clock was down to zero, game was considered over and kick wouldnt have counted.

This could go over by half time, not sure how port managed to score 3 goals themselves while they were getting killed around the ground. Looks like the hawks will put together a big score, but port could kick 12 themselves. Everyone on the over and hawks to cover looking pretty good at 1/4 time.

Bad luck if you are on Melb or didn't get on Pies in time. These two teams are in a different class. I love calling games with 45 point spreads after 7 minutes, so I just did

They were laying -44.5 yesterday! I was a bit bemused by it, but thought there was something i was missing. Big spread games have also been suicide this season, so I had to check out a few more things.

TBH, I then didn't really look into this one in any depth until this morning. Still snagged a reasonable line (-45.5).

The live line is now 71.5.

Unless Pies stop because they are so far ahead (which they do occasionally in the 3rd quarter), this should be easy.
