Doesn't happen often but I absolutely agree with you on this point. I spent most of my career as a parole officer but would pick up overtime shifts on holiday weekends and would work traffic, handle regular call outs. Often since the overtime was federal funded by a grant to reduce DUI's my main patrol areas would be county and state parks. Now if I'm rolling through a park and see an RV with 8-10 senior citizens sitting in front of it drinking out of coffee cups and I see a van and 4-5 off road bikes with 8-10 young men sitting near it and drinking out paper bags who do you think I'm going to stop and talk to?

It NEVER used to be this way. While the filibuster option has always existed, it was only used on the most rarest of occassions.

When Clinton nominated the ACLU ultra-liberal Ruth Bader Ginsburg to the Supreme Court, she was confirmed by a 97-3 margin and it sure wasn't because the vast majority of republicans agreed with her political beliefs.

It has always been the democrats who have acted like SPOILED ROTTEN CHILDREN over Supreme Court Justices:
