Brings back memories. I did that too. It was, like, minimum wage. And the bales were wet. I lasted about half an hour.

I worked on an assembly line once putting little springs into car door handles. One after another after another . . . .

Amazingly, I lasted about 4 hours at that. The Over/Under was 15 minutes.

I'm still laughing at Natrass' joke. I don't know if it's the joke itself or the fact the tigers are named Alan and Edna.

Yes, they do. And many other professionals, too, and I've worked along side them in the stores.

      For example, like this guy:

True stories in the life of a part-time pizza delivery driver.

Just because you are an engineer doesn't mean you are independently wealthy and can't use some extra income, especially if you gamble.

I swear, some of you folks are so out of touch with actual world, I think you must be some trust fund brats who've never worked a day in your life, or maybe you still live in your parent's basement.

You guys need to stop making fun of ms.

I'm a surgeon but deliver for Dominoes on the side. When my pager goes off I don't know if it's for double bypass or double pepperoni.

I delivered in 92-93, and I noticed a big difference in peoples tipping, and this was a predominantly white county(well, still is, but it has grown alot since then), when I would deliver to trailer parks or homes in a slightly run down area, those people tended to tip at least 2-3 bucks, sometimes you could get a $5 tip for a $12 order. But when I delivered to well off people, like people in nice neighborhoods with a Lexus and BMW and a boat in the driveway, those type of people almost always wrote a check for the exact amount.
Basically it seemed like if the person was white collar I wasn't getting a tip, if they were blue collar I was getting a tip.
But that was just my experience.

              That is pure comedy.

The Simpsons would be proud of that.

I really dont know what this tipping thing is in America .. seems to just be a continual source of embarassment/resentment.

Just add 10% to basic price and be done.

I only tip two types of people in the world .. barbers and girlfriends.

No one else desreves tipping period.

I tend to agree. When people consider you "scum" for not tipping it tends to lose its purpose.

By the way, I've delivered food before and found it to be less boring than the vast array of mind numbing, tedious or demeaning jobs our great capitalist masters bless us with.

There's a lot of truth to that, too.

There's even more truth to the black babysitter sending the children to the door and yelling "get all the change" ( when the parents obviously intended for the change to be your tip).

Nobody, and I mean nobody, would deliver food if it wasn't for the tips (especially now). If you don't want to tip, just go to the store and pick up the damn food yourself. That's what i do now because the pizzas from any store that delivers suck.

unfortunately Bullitt County has had a bad rap since before i was born(I assume), my high school had about 1400 students and we had maybe 10 people of various different races. But since i've graduated BC has grown alot in the past 15+ years, it(bullitt county) is always one of the top growing counties in the state, BC is directly below Louisville(Jefferson county), so neighborhoods have popped up alot with people moving away from Louisville for lower taxes or whatever reason.
I don't know the numbers now for the population of different races, but i'm sure it has probably grown 10 fold or more.
unfortunately we have more people who would fit under the "those whites" category, or just good ole "white trash".
