McCarvers bad....most of the time now he tells his story and you can tell Buck thinks hes retarded, just awkward silence until he can call the game, never tries to engage in conversation. Terrible. I mean broadway bullies. really cmon dude. And when they were talking about blanton yelling at the ump as he walked off the field. Obviously blanton had to pitch differently since he wasnt getting the outside calls so he had to come in more and there goes what 4 home runs. An McCarvers comment is well some of those calls were questionable but its not like those homeruns were questionable i would take the side of (the ump), As a pitcher if your not getting your call (blanton needs his outside call) then your choices you have are to walk everyone or throw up meatballs at home (blanton doesnt have the speed) you get those unquestionable homeruns. He just doesnt sound like he has a clue.

Actually, if you really study the game and history of baseball you will appreciate McCarver's level of detail and analysis. If anything, he is vastly underrated. On the other hand, Joe Buck is probably the most arrogant and terrible announcer I've ever heard, hands down.

I like Dierdorf. I think he is underrated, and teamed with a clown similar to Buck in Greg Gumbel. I do not even think either of the Gumbel's like sports.

My family automatically mutes the sound and turns on radio play by play if available.

Joe Buck is by the far the worst. I put him on mute every time. McCarver is not much better but anything is better than Buck.

Pretty much the whole Fox crew is awful. Ken Rosenthal is the worst commentator of all time though.

McCarver sucks. He sucked when he was working with Ashburn in Philly, he sucks now. He over analyzes stuff to sound smart. Harry Kalas is 10 times better.

the absolute worst is the chicago white sox announcer. the biggest homer in the annoucing booth. i cant believe someone hasnt told him how ridiculous he is.

also the dodgers old azz annoucer is intolerable. i always turn my mlb.tv audio to natural park for his broadcasts.

the tigers announcers are good, they give props to the opposing teams often and dont suck their own team's dxxx

McCarver is bad, but I can't stand listening to Rod Allen do a Tigers broadcast. He brings up the most obvious points.
