Milwaukee is the best baseball play tonight

this is the playoffs though, college sports are WAY different. CC's pitched on 3 days rest, three times already. I'm not sure if it's a bad thing or not. Sometimes when you get used to pitching every so many days, it just feels "right". CC can throw for days and I dont think stamina is an issue tonight. He's pitched really well his last 3 starts on 3 days rest so why doubt him now? I think him getting used to throwing on 3 days rest is important here. Not to mention how bad he wants to prove himself now so he can cash in during the off-season. The Brewers looked bad yesterday on offense, but they faced FAR AND AWAY Philly's best pitcher.

How could it not be an issue. He has pitched on 5 days rest for his entire professional baseball career, save a few starts.

I understand but his last 3 starts were on 3 days rest. He pitched better in his last start on 3 days rest than the first one he pitched on 3 days rest. I'm telling ya, the 3 days rest thing is only big when the pitcher has to do it all of a sudden

BA means nothing... its the runs first and foremost, as they don't tally the hits/abs and get a calculator out at the end of 9 innings... runs scored, and phils put them up in bunches, think HR's and ops

You guys need a statistics course. Batting average is positively correlated with run production more than any other category. Saying "its the runs first and foremost" is redundant. It's like saying the team that scores the most points wins. Offense = runs. Runs scored is a direct correlate of batting avg, on base percentage, and slugging percentage.

What exactly makes the Phils the best offense in the NL? Can you back that up at all. Here's a tidbit for you.
