He's pitched really well his last 3 starts on 3 days rest so why doubt him now? I think him getting used to throwing on 3 days rest is important here. Not to mention how bad he wants to prove himself now so he can cash in during the off-season. The Brewers looked bad yesterday on offense, but they faced FAR AND AWAY Philly's best pitcher.
How could it not be an issue. He has pitched on 5 days rest for his entire professional baseball career, save a few starts.

I understand but his last 3 starts were on 3 days rest. He pitched better in his last start on 3 days rest than the first one he pitched on 3 days rest. I'm telling ya, the 3 days rest thing is only big when the pitcher has to do it all of a sudden

Wouldn't the under 8 be the best bet? Both pitchers clearly can dominate both lineups? I cant seem to figure out which way to lean for the Win,

I'm not sure how much gas the Brewers have left in the tank. C.C. could pitch his butt off and still have nothing to show for it.

I'm taking the Phils. I think sooner or later CC will get tired! 3 days rest every time will catch up. No better place than a park with short porches!

You guys need a statistics course. Batting average is positively correlated with run production more than any other category. Saying "its the runs first and foremost" is redundant. It's like saying the team that scores the most points wins. Offense = runs. Runs scored is a direct correlate of batting avg, on base percentage, and slugging percentage.

What exactly makes the Phils the best offense in the NL? Can you back that up at all. Here's a tidbit for you.

Last 6 world series champs and their respective league team batting avg's:

                                2007 Boston 5th
                                2006 St Louis 4th
2005 CWS 11th (an anomaly, 1st in ERA)
                                2004 Boston 2nd
                                2003 Florida 5th
                                2002 Angels 1st

                                Phillies are 10th this season.

No. I had my bet at 10PM last night. And if you'll notice 5D is still offering the Phillies at +122...

No. +122 was the opener. SBR Odds isn't updating, as seems to be the case more often than not. PHI was around +110 all afternoon at 5d.
