    SBR trimming fat
Might be some layoffs coming guys. I'm going to try and contact that Corey Trots dude to see if he can go on and start working on a possible lawsuite if SBR cans me, age discrimination.

Nah, just kidding. But there is going to be a weight loss contest at the office here. Will post details and updates on MySBR page. Been bulking up on a lot of starches, ice cream, several cans of Boddington's ale, cheese, hoping to push myself up around 262 before the weigh in and then I can just push that right out of me on the first day.

Selma/Shertz area. Nice and homely women there. Racetrack right across the street. Get fat and spend money. The American way.

The wings were a lot better than the eye candy there, I was surprised. Other than the barely legal, dwarf waitress we had there weren't many cowgirls worthy of a big tip.

I think that CrazyL fella is probably the clear victor of this weight loss contest? Word on the street is he's drinking raw eggs at 5:30AM and started strength conditioning.

Raw eggs followed by ding dongs is not considered strength conditioning.

I believe you meant 'homey' and not 'homely.'

The contest is over on Oct 28th Panic, pre-lunch weigh in that day then off to Hooters. Mark it down on your calendar.

I had a bad time last fall/winter and ballooned up 30 pounds. Lost it in the spring. It took me 8 weeks so I thought that was pretty good.

FWIW - here were the key elements.

Cut way back on the potatoes and breads.

You can still have quite a bit of meat and lettuce/tomatoes/pickles etc.

Lose the late night ice cream followed by cheesecake followed by chips followed by cookies. Replace them with an apple or banana and perhaps a little 100 calorie pack of those Thinsations or a couple of those 40 calorie fat-free fudgesicles.

Exercise is a good thing! Feeling a bit hungry is also a good thing.

That's what I figured out and it worked. Basically eat less, exercise more. I'm a genius.

Yeah, I give up ice cream for Lent each year, so I know I can do that. But the lack of taters, mac & cheese, pasta, breads, etc., well, let's just say I'll be in a sour mood early on which means Whitey better not sass me sitting so near my desk.

According to Ivanator and his juicy 40¢ lines, I'm the underdog, Dan. Or should I say the underblob as the case may be.

I have to admit, it was relatively easy for me. I felt bad because my mom has been working at losing weight for a long time and it is so much harder for her for a few reasons. I got so I was avoiding giving her updates on my clockwork progress because I just felt like a douche.

If that is your position then I suggest ignoring my advice about having a couple 40 calorie fat-free fudgesicles. If you are not big on the will power, those tasty little buggers can go from 2 to 10 pretty fast.

Good luck to all of you.

Quick update boys and girls. I'm kicking ass in this contest, presently sitting at the -14 lbs level. Whitey has been trying to get me to fall off the diet wagon, tempting me with pizza at lunch yesterday and even making me go get it for his skinny butt thinking that I'd succumb to the temptation and eat a slice or two on way back to the office. But I'll get even with him at some point.

Dozer, Lou and I have been trying all sorts of exercise routines, and here's a shot of one of our recent workout sessions...that's me in the back, the skinny one in the white tutu.
