Who was that poster that said they bet the house on Obama?
They have to be running to the drug store to get some Imodium AD right now
Obama did pretty badly. Presidential odds now:
Obama +150
McCain -130

I think it depends on the economy. If things continue to worsen, it opens the door for Obama. In that scenario, people won't vote 4 more years of economic disaster with McCain. Even the racist ones simply stay home, if they still have a home ))
Sorry, inthehole, my typo mistake......should have typed "largest minority ethnic group." thought I had typed that...
The point here is that it's irresponsible of McCain to attempt inclusion of Ukraine into NATO. It would only lead to warfare and the suffering of many innocent people. Even if we avoided nuclear war, many people inside Ukraine would never accept being part of NATO and so violence there would continue in perpetuity. Then what? We have to occupy it for 100 years like Iraq? Honestly, I sit there in shock every time McCain opens his mouth about Ukraine. By the way, None of the European countries wants to bring Ukraine into NATO because they know it's a ridiculous idea.

I'd say it was about a draw. Surprised so many here thought Obama was that bad. He came out strong on the economy, linking McCain to 8 years of Bush's policy.
McCain fared better on foreign affairs, but he just recited the same old line about Iraq, not leaving, victory in sight, etc. I think people are just tired of it. I don't think Obama lost any ground tonight although I did expect him to do better.

One segment I thought helped Obama. When McCain pulled the bracelet line about some mom saying "don't let my son die in vein. Let's win in Iraq." Then Obama said "I have a bracelet of a mom whose son died in Iraq and said "don't let another mom go through what I'm going through."
Edge: Obama.

I know the Dems are shit, but Obama might accidentally energize the public in an unexpected way, and slowly shift the American political paradigm in a positive direction. No chance of this with Republicans.
I still can't believe how many old black grandmas I see with Obama t-shirts. Maybe something good is taking place, we just can't see it in the media.

Saw only some excerpts. Sounded prechewed. Prepared answers for questions that were already known.
On a sidenote, hard to believe that anyone in the sports betting industry would even consider backing a republican.

Interesting sportsbook had the odds at Obama at -150 and McCain +110 before the debates. Now it's Obama -190 and McCain +145. Difference in spread sucks on Sportsbook!

"A pair of one-night polls gave Barack Obama a clear edge over John McCain in their first presidential debate.
Fifty-one percent said Obama, the Democrat, did a better job in Friday night's faceoff while 38 percent preferred the Republican McCain, according to a CNN-Opinion Research Corp. survey of adults."
What planet do you live on, Sir? Perhaps it would be better stated....WTF?
