This is supposed to be McCain's strong suit, and it didn't show. This is all he knows, you can tell by the numerous war stories and random tangents he goes on.

Obama was way more precise in what he wants to happen, especially with tax cuts for the middle class and helping the average person. McCain was very vague in most parts, and I stand in my feeling that McCain is just another Bush.

Obama could have attacked McCain more, but he's playing the nice guy too much. I'm not too sure what McCain wants to do, because all he does is try to bash Obama....seems like his only plan.

Edit: Obama also has Biden, who is strong in foreign affair and very wise. On the other hand, Palin brings nothing to the table at all. She will get owned in a debate.

McCain's whistling sound got annoying fast. He was trying to play dirty and bring down Obama, but Obama looked poised the entire debate.

Did it occur to you as strange when John McCain said that we should begin the process of bringing Ukraine into NATO?

Do you know where Ukraine is? Do you know anything about Ukraine? Obviously, you don't and neither does your old man, John McCain

How do I know this, you ask?

Because I've studied Russian history and I've been to Ukraine. In fact, my grandfather was Ukrainian and died in Siberian gulag.

1.) Let me explain to you that the largest ethnic group in Ukraine are ethnic Russians! Guess what? They don't want to be in NATO! They see NATO as the enemy.

2.) Let me explain that Ukraine is a neighbor of Russia. That means that they share a common border. Would you like it as an American if Russia formed a military alliance with Canada and Mexice directed against the United States?

You have a few Ukrainian nationalist politicians pushing NATO membership on the country. Of course, their also getting paid under the table from various groups inside the U.S.

I gurantee you most of the country does not desire to join NATO. And there is no national security reason for the U.S. to risk world war III with Russia over bringing Ukraine inside NATO. I think the U.S. can defend itself just fine without Ukraine. In fact, it would probably save the U.S. billions of dollars by not bothering with Ukraine.

I just don't see the intelligence of provoking Russia which then leads to Russia retaliating by sending missiles and planes to U.S neighbors such as Venezuela. What is the point in all this? There is none. McCain is an old man who's still fighting the Vietnam War and the Cold War.

Attempting to bring ukraine into NATO would spark military confrontation with Russia and lead to the partitioning of Ukraine. Thousands of innocent people would lose their homes and lives in the process. Is it really worth it? If you think so, please explain why
